oh man, there are so many. but i am particularly endeared to the notion of fletcher as a caregiver who pretends to hate it despite being the one who both causes the problems and offers neiman care in the first place. breaking his nose and then wiping the blood off his face with a washcloth while telling him what a stupid pussy he is and how much he's inconvenienced by him. shoving ibuprofen down his throat like he's a dog. getting him plastered and then telling him how revolting and pathetic he is when he holds him over the toilet by the hair so he can puke. harshly scrubbing his hands for him and bandaging the blisters since he's too useless to do it himself. just really really delighting in the act of putting him back together again and giving him comfort but being fully unable to admit it to anyone, including himself

I just wanted to say that ur whiplash fanfic is probably the most amazing fanfic I have read/will read ever. I didn’t even really like whiplash the first time I watched it for some reason but then I read ur fanfic and I was like hooolllyy shit I gotta rewatch whiplash and I did and it’s like one of my favourite movies now. Now whenever I rewatch whiplash I reread ur fic immediately after because I like to imagine it as a canon continuation of the story lol. I also never used to seriously read fanfic that often but I’ve gotten more into it recently because I was so floored by your writing
