Utrecht by night. I was born and raised in Rotterdam, but I must admit Utrecht may be the prettiest city in the Netherlands.

Bernie is the stronger candidate against Trump. Clearly. We need to keep the ‘new deal’ revolution moving forward. #progressivepolitics

Donald Trump is a sad, evil person. I really don’t understand why people would vote for him.

Thanks for your replies! You do realise that whole thing about ‘splitting the vote’ means you really don’t have a democracy, do you? Over here, I can vote for the Party for Animals (and I have done so in the past, I sort of switch between them and the Socialist Party) and the percentage of votes will earn a party that exact percentage of chairs in the parliament. So even if we ‘spilt the votes’ over five or ten socialist parties, they can all win seats in parliament and in theory even form a government.
The way elections in the US are organised are insane and undemocratic, and I’m not even talking about the money and donations.
If Bernie doesn’t win the nomination...
Forgive me my ignorance, I live in a country with a normal election procedure. :-)
But if he doesn’t win the nomination, he can still be an independent candidate, yes? So, nothing is lost then?
