A video of Palestinian man burning to death while still connected to an IV went viral after Israel firebombed a hospital and set tents on fire. I won't post the video or the pictures but I'd like to commemorated the victim.

This is Shaaban Al-Dalu. He had two sisters and a little brother. He was studying software engineering in the tent he died in. Shaaban was his family's sole provider. His mother died with him. May they rest in peace

Listen, this is the largest scale of Israeli violence in the West Bank since the second Intifada.

Israel is destroying the infrastructure in West Bank refugee camps like Nur Shams to the point where drinking water is no longer available in the camp.

How can I explain to you that Israel is launching an aggression against refugee camps? How can I get you to understand that this area is occupied by Israel yet it is invading it and conducting airstrikes against it? The language in the media will have you thinking this is between two armies. Please understand that Israel is launching these attacks on civilian areas, refugee camps, against resistance groups.

I no longer have any hope of survival like I had at the beginning of this genocide, and I am certain that I will die in the next few weeks or maybe days. I have been sick with severe viral infection for days and cannot move from the mattress!

I suffer from nightmares that are so closely resemble reality that I no longer differentiate between reality and dream.

I live in a world other than the one I claimed to be building! I am a community activist who lived on the fantasy that the world was free and just, and I sought to bring rights not only to my people, but to many men and women in third world countries!

I was shocked that I was not from the third world! Indeed, we are the most humane and moral! Yes, because the world approves, supports, and finances the genocide we are being subjected to, legislates it, and gives reasons for for 58 days! While we are a people who have been living on occupied land for 75 years and are still searching for our rights and communicating our voice to the world!

My message to the world: You are not innocent of what is happening to us, you as governments or peoples that support Israel’s annihilation of my people. We will not forgive you, we will not forgive you, humanity will not forgive you, we will not forget, even if we die, the history will never forget .

A Message to friends: Thank you and the supporters around the world. You have been compassionate and very strong. We ask you not to lose hope, even if the world seems completely unfair and your efforts have not yet resulted in a ceasefire.

shower. not a bath, a shower. use water as hot or cold as u like. u dont even need to wash. just get in under the water and let it run over you for a while. sit on the floor if you gotta.

moisturize everything. use whatever lotion u like. unscented? dollar store lotion? fancy ass 48 hour lotion that makes u smell like a field of wildflowers? use whatever you want, and use it all over. 

put on clean, comfortable clothes. 

put on ur favorite underwear. cute black lacy panties? those ridiculous boxers u bought last christmas with candy cane hearts on the butt? put em on.

drink cold water. use ice. if u want, add some mint or lemon for an extra boost.

clean something. doesn’t have to be anything big. organize one drawer of ur desk. wash five dirty dishes. do a load of laundry. scrub the bathroom sink. 

blast music. listen to something upbeat and dancey and loud, something that’s got lots of energy. sing to it, dance to it, even if you suck at both.

make food. don’t just grab a granola bar to munch. take the time and make food. even if it’s ramen. add something special to it, like a hard boiled egg or some veggies. prepare food, it tastes way better, and you’ll feel like you accomplished something. 

make something. write a short story or a poem, draw a picture, color a picture, fold origami, crochet or knit, sculpt something out of clay, anything artistic. even if you don’t think you’re good at it.

go outside. take a walk. sit in the grass. look at the clouds. smell flowers. put your hands in the dirt and feel the soil against your skin.

call someone. call a loved one, a friend, a family member, call a chat service if you have no one else to call. talk to a stranger on the street. have a conversation and listen to someone’s voice. if you can’t, text or email or whatever, just have some social interaction with another person. even if you don’t say much, listen to them.

cuddle your pets if you have them/can cuddle them. take pictures of them. talk to them. tell them how u feel, about your favorite movie, a new game coming out.

her name is Nika Shahkarmi. she was arrested on September 20 because she was a protester.

today, her dead body was delivered to her parents. she had a broken nose and a broken skull. she was 17, she is the 11th minor that was killed by the police forces during the past few days.

Watch what you want. But I'm so tired of people being assholes when people point out how the latest true crime thing in mainstream media could be damaging to victims and the families of victims. And you know they cannot escape it if it's mainstream enough. I'm sure these families can easily avoid the dozens of podcast episodes about Jeffrey but not so easy to live life and avoid a huge Netflix release about the man who killed your cousin. Everyone's talking about it. Clips are all over the internet. These murders happened between the late 70s and early 90s. This is potentially retraumatizing dozens of people. These families are still alive -many of the parents of these victims are still alive.

Again, just like this family member a victim said, if they make it, people are gonna watch. No one can tell you not to and people are fascinated. The issue is really just that it didn't need to be made. There's quite a bit of content out there for those truly interested.

Apparently the Iranian government has flown in Hisbollah militia from Lebanon to put down the protests in Iran.

This means massacre.

They are trained killers.

It also means the mullahs and Iranian military can wash their hands off the blood of their fellow citizens.

They'll let others do the bloody work.

Please don't stop paying attention to what's happening in Iran!
