I just want to thank Moffat and Gatiss. I want to thank them for writing a show with engaging dialogue. A show that gave us a friendship for the ages. A show that gave us villains we love to hate and hate to love. A show that gave us a broken Holmes family, slowly put back together again. A show that gave us Molly Hooper and her fierce and brave spirit. A show that I will watch again and again because I love the characters. And a show that gave us Sherlock Holmes. A brilliant and broken man who had lost the capacity to love or be loved. And because of his best friend, his brother, a woman who is not his house keeper, a detective named Greg, a woman who loved his best friend, and a woman who loves him, even when he doesn't deserve it, became human again. And I think that's beautiful. So amidst a swarm of criticism, I just wanted to say thank you.
