I got inspired by @whatwooshkai 's "I'd Rather Be Dead" fic and have been pondering about scenarious of Heatwave getting dragged underwater by voices and everything. So the urge to draw something related to it was big.

I love this fanfic so much, I am such a sucker for horror. Can't wait for an update on the next one. It will be a feast.

I loved when “Drift Compatible” entered pop lexicon cause we were in DESPERATE need for a way to platonically express “one of us to the other is as a limb to a body; we are a left and right feet of a dancer; we do not need to speak because any one word inspires an exchange of unspoken words that conveys a full conversation in which a mutual conclusion is determined in an instant”. Huge win for the QPRs out here

Gotta be honest. I don’t like transformers formal/fancy attire being little delicate chains and crystals. It’s just not for me.

Especially when there are so many more things you could do! Transformers are big and BOLD. Their special occasions attire should be as such.

I’m talking wraps, pin striping, led lights or large decals!

Any pieces that could be used that aren’t directly on the body should have large geometric shapes. Large plates of rainbow titanium or bismuth looking. I actually take back my comment about crystals. Especially when they can come in long geometric shapes. Like bladed formed crystals. So now the decorations could be both bold and delicate.

This is just my opinion, but I was watching some stuff about tf one and their art deco designs for builds and it just threw my brain on a tirade.

Big fan of characters realizing they don't get to die. They have to live. And grow. And be a person. And deal with shit they thought they'd never have to. And be fucked up about it. I would like more of this. Enough dying for honor or as redemption. It ain't. You're just a corpse. There is no moral value in dirt time.

Small thing but my opinion on IDW Prowl as a continuity version of him tends to change depending on who I'm talking to. When I'm talking to people who call all versions of Prowl assholes/a prick I have my big speech about how it's incredibly important to separate your views of a character depending on what continuity they're from. IDW Prowl and G1 Prowl are insanely different takes on one guy and it's unfair to judge all versions of him by the standard the most popular, notorious version of him has set. It's also important to recognize IDW Prowl as a postmodern criticism of authority and police in general, and he shouldn't be reduced to a superficial asshole character in thoughtful conversation- but you shouldn't, like, project all of this onto Marvel Prowl or G1 Prowl, who weren't written with this explicitly in mind. But when it's people who discredit the way IDW Prowl's written entirely and say that he completely ruined the original G1 character I'm like well okay maybe IDW Prowl should've tried to blow up Caminus twice for good measure

Dialogue Punctuation Cheat Sheet

hey friends, i've found myself talking about dialogue grammar a lot as i do more and more beta'ing, so figured it'd be helpful to share more broadly :)

1. Dialogue + Tag (same sentence):

"I missed you," he said. "I missed you," Will said.

Use a comma inside the quotation marks.

Don't capitalize the dialogue tag unless it starts with a name.

2. Dialogue + Action (separate sentence):

"I missed you." He stepped closer.

Use a period inside the quotation marks.

The action isn't a dialogue tag, so it stands as its own sentence.

3. Dialogue Split in Two (same sentence continues):

"I think," he murmured, "that you should stay." "I think that," he murmured, "Will should stay."

Use a comma before closing the quotation mark and after the tag.

Don't capitalize the second part unless it's a name or proper noun.

4. Dialogue Split in Two (separate sentences):

"You're here," he said. "I wasn't sure you'd come."

Use a period after the tag, because the next quote is a new sentence.

Capitalize the new sentence of dialogue.

5. Tag + complete sentence of dialogue:

He released a breath before answering, "Always."

Use a comma after the tag.

Capitalize the complete sentence of dialogue.

6. Questions & Exclamations:

"Are you serious?" he asked. "Don't touch me!" he snapped.

Keep the ? or ! inside the quotes.

Follow with a lowercase tag unless it starts with a name.
