Story of the Dance ( 1 / ∞ ) → Kai and Sehun Baby Don’t Cry stage

The inspiration of the song was taken from story The Little Mermaid (1837). When the Little Mermaid turned 15, she fell in love with a prince. She asks the Sea Witch to give her legs in exchange of her voice. If she fails to win the love of the prince - and the prince marries another by the next morning, then she will not have an immortal soul and thus will turn into a sea foam on the crest of waves. The two fell in love but the prince is set for an arranged marriage with the neighboring king’s daughter. The prince goes on a journey to wed his fiance. The mermaid must stop the wedding from taking place because it will bring her, her death. She must pierce the heart of the prince with a knife while he is alseep in order for her to not turn in to sea foam. In the song Baby Don’t Cry, the prince has been lying awake the whole time. And thus, asking the Little Mermaid to kill him in order for her to live.
