At Gatsby’s funeral, hardly anybody showed up. People swarmed his parties but his funeral remains deserted. Daisy did not even bother sending a flower at the least, showing how heartless of a person she really is. With a heart as cold and minuscule as that, can she really be human? The sky will go crying on for the rest of the day since nobody else will...

Daisy finally reveals her vile nature today. Myrtle, who mistook Daisy as Tom because of the car, stands in front to greet him but is run over like she is roadkill. Gatsby is a fool blinded by love and takes the blame for the incident. Daisy sheds away any feelings of guilt and does not even show a hint of gratitude towards Gatsby. I am disappointed and ashamed to be related to this woman.

Every time Gatsby throws a party, his mansion looks like a gigantic block of light that allures hundreds of moths. His parties are on an entirely different scale and I’m sure they are meant to attract more than just these “moths!”

Between the two Eggs and New York is this city of ashes. Here, you see ashes, breathe ashes, and taste ashes. There’s just nothing here. No wonder why Myrtle is so desperate to leave this place whenever she has a chance...

First visit to Tom Buchanan’s estate, and what a beautiful place it is! Too bad the owner of the home is not as elegant...He is arrogant, cocky, violent, racist... can’t ask for more than that. Tom is an angry rooster who is always ready to assert his dominance.
