Had the worst headache in years yesterday night and today I'm feeling low. Got some things done but I'm mainly sitting around getting sucked in by my phone. I hope this changes soon.

most of today was taken up by training for my job at my university, but i found some time to work on my paper that i most recently got feedback for. also shoutout to one of my apartment mates for letting me read parts of my paper to them.
sometimes i need someone who isn’t super into philosophy to read my work because sometimes i write something that only makes sense to me !

a large part of my work process is spent doing mindless things like reading novels and watching youtube videos and going to the gym but while im doing that a part of my brain is developing the perfect argument structure for my paper until it's all done and i just have to write it down. it's like a bread dough that needs proving time. sure i could spend all that time staring at a blank word doc doing my thinking but why would i when this has proven far more efficient

So much to revise for in so little time… I’ve started drinking coffee after a hiatus of 2 years, and hopefully I won’t get addicted to it again!
