Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town coming to PlayStation supposedly on July 26, 2022 according to this Target listing.
It is interesting to note one of the paragraphs on the description of the game:
“The long-awaited brand new entry in the original farm/life simulation franchise, known in Japan as Bokujo Monogatari, makes its debut on Nintendo Switch, bringing players more freedom than ever before to shape an untamed wilderness and customize their farm down to the very tile.”
I am not sure if Target got the wrong product description but it lists this game as debuting on the Nintendo Switch even though the display image is of a PS4 case.

PERSONAL THOUGHTS
Take this with a grain of salt, since I obviously don’t know exactly what Natsume and Marvelous’s working relationship is with rereleases like these, but… I feel like it’s probably not likely that most of these games will return on services like Nintendo Switch Online’s Nintendo 64 service or a future GameBoy service. Mostly because, aside from Harvest Moon 64′s Wii U release (which came so late that the Switch had already launched) there haven’t really been many collaborations between the two companies after their split. Most notably, the original Harvest Moon has yet to be added to NSO’s SNES service and it’s not exactly looking likely that it ever will at this point.
Marvelous being the original developers of the games and Natsume being the ones to localize them into English for territories outside Japan mean both would need to come to some kind of agreement for rereleases like this in the future. However, with the success of Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, it’s probably more likely that Marvelous will rather choose to remake fan-favorites like Harvest Moon 64 instead. With so many classic games affected by the split, it may take a loooong time before a lot of these games ever get the remake treatment, and for less popular titles like the GameBoy trilogy it may not ever happen.
If you want to buy them, the time’s now. Really hope I’m wrong though. Would be nice if all the classic games were easily available.
