My first attempt to Desk-one
I dreamed of my grandma this morning. However, the noise of construction upstair had interrupted my dream. Urghhhh...That means I couldn’t work at home neither. I asked my god brother for some advice because he couldn’t work with noise. He suggested me going to some private study rooms. He gave me the name of the study room “Desk-one” and I found that it had one just located next to my building. I did the booking immediately and went there for the first try. It was a wonderful experience as the study room was actually a hotel room, the environment was very clean and comfy. The view was fabulous because it faced to the sea. And that’s why I love sitting next to the window. I love looking at the see view and work at the same time. Yeah!!! Staffs were nice and helpful. There were free wifi and plugs in the room. They offered unlimited drinks and snacks in the hotel corridor which you could help yourself at anytime. The room was on-suit which meant that you didn’t have to go out for toilet. I spent my whole working time there from 2-7pm. I should say it was a very productive day as I have marked quite a lot of writings and worksheets. And I met a girl there who had her last work from home holiday today. She asked me to keep an eye on her laptop as she wanted to buy a Mc Donald’s meal for supper and worked until late night. Good luck to her. Yea....you can bring your own food to the room too. If you need some working space desperately, I highly recommend “Desk-one”. It has different packages for you to choose. And I had picked $148 day pass which you can stay in the room for 8 hours max. Anyway, I have a lovely time today. =]Â

I love this old fashioned building. It is full of history and culture. Mike told me that it used to be his primary school which was a very small English primary school. That’s really cool.Â

Try a little bit every day
I didn’t sleep well yesterday night. I think it is because I’ve slept too much during this CNY holiday. So I decided to have an early wake and make myself as tired as possible to get in bed tonight. Gosh...I’ve to work 9-12 on coming Friday. Well, I did a lot of cool stuffs this morning. Washed the clothes, bought some food from the market and even did some paper work and telephone calls for my company. Yeah, I will call my school a company as I am not the one who study there. I work there. Haha. I am impressed. Yesterday midnight, someone asked me out for an afternoon tea as we haven’t seen each other for such a long period of time. But he blew me off at the end. I was disappointed. >< Anyway, try a little bit every day right? So I stepped out my house and took the tram to Tai Hang to continue my afternoon tea plan. It was such a lovely place to visit. I texted Mike whether he would consider this area as our moving option. Seems like we are on the same page. We both like this place very much. Maybe we should take a look. I had some fries and a cup of Earl Grey tea in Second Draft. Finally, I walked back home all the way from Tai Hang. It was a lovely experience. At least, I have done the afternoon tea part without missing everything. lol.Â

4th Day of CNY
It seems like people are getting tired after three days of CNY. Especially it was Valentine Day yesterday. My husband’s temper is getting worse with lack of tolerance. He didn’t want to go out with me for grocery as that would affect him reading his book. Once he starts something, it is more like an addiction. Nothing can stop him or change his plan. What a rigid guy! Although I was not pleased at all, well...It’s all about how you deal with the situation, right? There is no point to argue with someone who is full of emotions. I have made a little joke. Teasing his double chins. Life is getting better. He smiles and he is willing to talk about it. Yeah...laugh a little bit and take it easy. Life is tough. Btw, I have watched a TED presentation today. It was about how to generate a habit by doing it just one minute per day. It is because a detailed plan is very difficult to achieve. Therefore, to keep yourself with passion, you have to do your target behaviour at least one minute per day. For example, if you wanna run for 10 minutes but you feel like you don’t have enough time or not able to do so. Just try to run for a minute. Once you have done it, you can feel the achievement of completing something rather than the failure. Meantime, it reminds me the strategy of making a habit by repeating the same thing 21 days. That means if I play ring fit adventure one minute per day and I do it for 21 days, I will fall in love with exercise. Haha....I will bear in mind. =]
