This was my 4th year cooking my family’s Thanksgiving dinner, and it was definitely my best year yet. (I say that every year, but it’s always true). This year I am incredibly grateful to be healthy and have the ability to cook. Just a couple weeks ago I was in the ER getting pumped full of platelets, telling my nurses all about my Thanksgiving plans and worrying they might fall through. This truly is my favorite day of the year, and I’m so thrilled I had the energy for it. I hope all of you had beautiful days filled with lots of things to be thankful for 🧡. #dEats: maple pecan salmon, green bean casserole, corn bread, cranberry sauce, stuffing, mashed potatoes & gravy, mac n cheese

Another falafel bowl for lunch. We had a half day at work today, so I got to eat at home while watching gossip girl. Quite the midweek treat 😂. I’m about to get started on thanksgiving prep, so this bowl will be my fuel for an evening of cooking.

Forever choosing the smallest plate and absolutely loading it with food. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach so this is my ideal way of making a plate.
