Accepted some job offers from retail jobs, and I'm already remembering why I didn't want to work in retail again...

Inconsistencies about the days/times you want to work versus what they schedule you for. Boring onboarding stuff on the computer. I really didn't want to do it...

Plus, I'm still emotionally and mentally exhausted from 14 months of uunemployment.

I know I've been in a complainy mood a lot lately since all of this happened, but it is what it is.

Ngl. Been feel a little extra sdl lately. From my usual percentage of 30% to closer to 50 or maybe more... But I can't d** because I have too many books to read. Lol. And I'm reading one currently. Can't leave it unfinished. This was how I was feeling Wednesday night and a few days before. Just was extra tired. Feeling better now.

And! I finally got some job offers! Yay!

Got interviews lined up this week for some retail-related jobs that I applied to. I'm trying to balance this with doing adult shit/handling responsibilities, and it's HARD. The job-searching process is so relentless and tiresome. And BORING! I have one interview tomorrow, two on Thursday, and I just feel tired. Job searching isn't just searching and applying. It's tailoring resumes and cover letters, networking, following up, getting the interview, and practicing for said interview. Then, following up again. From the time you apply to the time you actually start working can be two whole months! I am TIRED. Someone just give me a damn job ATP & ASAP.

SN: I know that cover letters are important, but I stopped doing them if they're not required. Especially since I'll tailor a cover letter for a job, only to discover that there's nowhere to upload it. I'm over it. Lol.

Hoping that I'll strike out by applying to some seasonal jobs (wasn't ready to work in person last year because of my assault).
