This is Theodore Roosevelt's daughter Alice.

Let me tell you a thing or two about fucking Alice Roosevelt Longworth.

- She was caught publicly smoking, and would often climb onto the White House roof to have a cigarette.

- She had a pet snake that she would carry around with her evrywhere

- She was a gambler, and would often place bets on horse races

- She was a party girl and spent many late nights drinking and riding in cars with boys!

This was all during a time where women were supposed to conform and both her and her father received a lot of criticism for her behavior.

- When asked to make sure Alice would stop smoking on the roof of the White House, Teddy Roosevelt replied, "I can control Alice or I can be the president of the United States, I cannot do both."

AND IF THAT WAS NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU

- When her father was voted out of office, she buried a voodoo doll of the new first lady, Nellie Taft, in the front yard of the White House. She was banned from the premises. :)

So I've been watching Gilmore Girls on Netflix, and let me just say - Sookie St. James is a goddess. I have always been a huge fan of Melissa McCarthy, she is graceful and funny and beautiful and everything I aspire to be in my life. As I've watched Sookie I see so much of myself in her and I have just fallen in love with her story. I dont have much else to say other than I am Sookie St. James and I adore Melissa McCarthy.

The skeletons of two women who died violently were discovered at Téviec, buried under a “roof” of antlers and decorated with necklaces made of shells Two skeletons of women between 25 and 35 years of age, dated between -6740 and -5680 BP Mesolithic. They died a violent death, with several head injuries and impacts of arrows. The two bodies were buried with great care in a pit half in the basement rock (underlying or country rock) and half in the kitchen debris that covered them. The tomb is protected by antlers. The grave goods include flint and bone (mainly wild boar) and funeral jewelry which is made of marine shells drilled and assembled into necklaces, bracelets and ankle rings. Some of the bone objects have engraved lines. They were recovered in 1938.
