BEST ROMANCE COMEDY ANIME SERIES TO WATCH

I’m the type of person who loves romance and the slice-of-life genre of anime. I’ve seen a lot of anime series and here I’ve picked a bunch of anime series which all romance comedy anime lovers can watch and enjoy. If you are not sure which anime series you should watch after you finished one, then you have come to the right place!!! Personally, I loved watching these series and hope that this list will be a lot enjoyable and helpful for you too.

WE NEVER LEARN

Yuiga Nariyuki tutors three geniuses of different subjects in high school to get a scholarship. Furuhashi Fumino is a genius in literature but horrible in math, Ogata Rizu is a genius in mathematics and science but literature and arts are terrible subjects for her, and Takemoto Uruka is a genius in the athletic field but really bad in all the others. Together, they study very hard and want to get better at their worst subjects while Fumino and Ogata want to go to college and work on these subjects for life.

HAGANAI

Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (僕は友達が少ない, lit. “I Have Few Friends”), also called Bokuha Tomodachiga Sukunai or Haganai for short, is a Japanese light novel series written by Yomi Hirasaka with illustrations by Buriki. It was published by Kadokawa Corporation’s Media Factory. Serialization began on August 31, 2009, and ended on August 25, 2015.

The story revolves around Kodaka Hasegawa, a transfer student to St. Chronica’s Academy. As with every other school he has ever attended, he finds it difficult to make friends there because of his naturally-blond hair (inherited from his deceased English mother) and fierce-looking eyes, which make him look threatening to his prejudiced schoolmates.

One day, Kodaka accidentally comes across the equally solitary and very abrasive Yozora Mikazuki while she converses with her imaginary friend Tomo. Realizing that neither of them has any social lives, they decide that the best way to improve their situation is to form a club – the Neighbor’s Club (隣人部, Rinjin-bu) – with the intention of making friends and learning social skills.

This anime series also consists of 2 seasons with 13 and 12 episodes respectively. It also has some OVA and a specials episode for fans. I was more attached to the characters in this anime series. As the characters are awkward and don’t have friends, they try hard to make some by doing various activities and such. It is fun to watch and it gives us some insight to get into human feelings as well.

He is forced by his teacher to join the school’s service club. And, work with two girls with issues of their own. They offer help and advice to others while dealing with their inner conflicts.

The story follows two loners, the pragmatic Hachiman Hikigaya and beautiful Yukino Yukinoshita. Who despite their varying personalities and ideals, offer help and advice to others as part of their school’s Service Club, assisted by the cheerful and friendly Yui Yuigahama. It largely depicts various social situations faced by teens in a high school setting and the psychology driving their interactions.

Oregairu was one of the most anticipated romance comedy anime for some time ago. It is completed now with 3 seasons which cover the whole story. The anime is filled with humor, thanks to the congenial personality of the main characters. It also gets serious at times as the female MC’s background is messed up. To be honest, this was the one I most enjoyed whilst watching the whole genre. It is my personal favorite as this anime had a different vibe around it and had a lot of relatable moments. The production team has done its job quite well in the characters and their personalities. This anime has a large fan base and the best waifu you can find. This anime has release first season and yet to release second season.

KAGUYA-SAMA WA KOKURASETAI

However, Speaking of the fan base, it is undoubtedly the biggest romance comedy anime you will find. Since it’s a premiere, it has been captivating its audience and it’s fan base is getting bigger every single day. Moreover, The rivalry between the two main characters is portrait excellently. This might be the reason that it is gaining a lot of popularity. It’s like a ‘must watch before you die’ type of anime. It has two season and the third season is yet to be release
