when life is tough i turn to my knitting. sometimes this means my anger, fear, whatever other negative emotions get taken out on the yarn. this was almost a full sock about a week ago and then i accidentally pulled the needles out of about 10 stitches and in that moment i didn’t have a light to see the stitches to pick them back up. i was already having a rough day and this was just the final straw and i ripped out the entire sock and started again. i keep reminding myself it’s okay to have these moments, but to also be gentle on myself. maybe you need this reminder too 💙💙💙

started my sixth bobbin of this sweater spin today 🎉 i had a custom blend made by world of wool based on the pokémon ivysaur

we don’t put full feet pictures on the internet for free here. but i’m channeling some spring time feels even though it’s only 38 degrees outside. i got these birks for christmas to wear with my handknit socks but i don’t have any socks currently accessible and i needed a happy today so shorts and barefooted birks it is. be kind to yourselves today friends 💙💙💙

Progress on a Bulbasaur amigurumi I’m designing. I just need to cut out the spots and eyes from felt which I decided to do with my cricut as my first ever project. Which of course went well ���
