Late Weekly Wrap Up

Weekly Wrap Up 3

January 15-21, 2023 Week Rating: 8/10

School Rating: 9/10- I found the calculator!! I also completely caught up in my classes and I am stayed ahead of them.

Productivity: 7/10- I worked in a lot of my free time at school. I did get caught up reading one afternoon, but that is not a bad reason to skip homework.

Books: I finished One for All on Monday and finished a Pho Love Story a few days after that. I started a third book, Dangerous Alliance, and I am still reading The Son of Neptune.

TV: Supernatural- I finished season 7, I am on episode four or 5 of season 8.

Hobbies: I started making mazes again, they are a really nice way to have something to do while I am watching tv.

Book Bingo Double Update

I crossed off the “book at the bottom of your to be read” square. It was called, “A Pho Love Story” by Loan Le. It was kind of like a Romeo and Juliet retelling. The two main characters are seniors in high school, whose parents own pho restaurants directly opposite each other. Their families hate each other and the two main characters begin an unlikely and hidden friendship, but eventually, things come to light. 

The book I last finished was “Dangerous Alliance: An Austentacious Romance” by Jennieke Cohen. It was about a strong-willed woman whose life has been turned upside down by her brother in law. She is unwillingly thrust into society in order to find a husband. I often found myself screaming at her to make the correct decision in husbands.

Book Recommendation

“One for All”, by Lillie Lainoff is set during regency times. It largely reminded me of watching Barbie and the three musketeers as a kid, some if the characters seem like foils with that movie. It is a good read for people who enjoy found family types of stories. It is about a girl who has issues with getting dizzy easily and fainting. Because of her “condition” she is ridiculed in her home town and feels useless, the only thing that makes her feel strong is fencing. After a life changing circumstance, she finds herself in Paris, France, where she discovers many things about herself and others, and has to make big decisions that can alter the fate of her life, her new family’s lives, and the city.

I have officially finished my third book, it was the book with a number in the title. The name of the book was “One for All” by Lillie Lainoff.

Weekly Wrap Up 2

January 8-14, 2023 Week Rating: 6/10

School Rating: 5/10- This was our first full week back at school. I am already behind in two of for of my classes and I lost the calculator the school lent me. It costs $130.

Productivity: 4/10-I forgot to takes my medication two days this week, which severely limited my capacity to do useful things. 

Books: I finished All Your Twisted Secrets. I am still reading the Son of Neptune, I also started One for All

TV: Supernatural- I only watched two episodes so I am still on season 7

Hobbies: I DIYed French tips on my nails and finally tried press on nails.

I finished a book by a female author yesterday. I was titled, “All Your Twisted Secrets” by Diana Urban. It is one of the top books from 2022. “All Your Twisted Secrets” is about a group of six high school students that seemingly have nothing in common, but they have all been trapped with a syringe, a bomb, and a note that says they must choose someone to die, or the bomb will kill them all.  I enjoyed it immensely, the ending was phenomenal and character developments keep you engaged the entire time.

I finished rereading “The Lost Hero” yesterday, it crossed off the square that says “a book with more than 500 pages. It was just as good as the first time I read it, but I am so much more excited to reread “The Son of Neptune” because of Percy.
