Baby Driver [2017]

ആക്ഷൻ, ക്രൈം വിഭാഗത്തിൽ പെടുത്താവുന്ന ചിത്രമാണ് 2017ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ #BabyDriver എന്ന സിനിമ. Edgar Wright കഥയെഴുതി സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ചിത്രത്തിൽ

Ansel Elgort, Kevin Spacey, Lily James, Eiza González, Jon Hamm, Jamie Foxx, and Jon Bernthal എന്നിവർ അഭിനയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

പേര് സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് പോലെതന്നെ ഒരു ഡ്രൈവറുടെ കഥ പറയുന്ന ചിത്രമാണിത്. ബേബി (Ansel Elgort) സഹസികനായ ഒരു ഡ്രൈവറാണ്. അവൻ ഒരു മോഷണസംഘത്തിന് വേണ്ടിയാണ് ജോലിചെയ്യുന്നത്. അവന്റെ കുട്ടിക്കാലത്ത് ഒരു ആക്സിഡന്റിൽ പെട്ട് അവന്റെ അച്ഛനും അമ്മയും മരിച്ചു. അവന്റെ അമ്മ നന്നായി പാടുമായിരുന്നു, അവനും പാട്ടിനോട് വലിയ ഇഷ്ടമായിരുന്നു. മാതാപിതാക്കൾ നഷ്ടമായ അവന്റെ ഏകാന്ത ജീവിതത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പങ്ക് വഹിച്ചതും പാട്ടുകളായിരുന്നു. ഡ്രൈവ് ചെയ്യുമ്പോഴും അവന്റെ ഐപാഡിൽ നിന്നുള്ള സംഗീതം ചെവിയിൽ മുഴങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കും. ചെറിയ ചെറിയ ശബ്ദങ്ങൾ റെക്കോർഡ് ചെയ്ത് സ്വന്തമായി സംഗീതം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുക എന്നുള്ളതും അവന്റെ വിനോദമായിരുന്നു. അതിനിടയിൽ പരിചയപ്പെട്ട ഡെബോറ (Lily James) എന്ന യുവതിയുമായി അവൻ പ്രണയത്തിലാകുന്നു. ഒടുവിൽ അവസാനത്തെ ഒരു മോഷണത്തോടെ എല്ലാം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കാൻ �� സംഘം തീരുമാനിച്ചു, പക്ഷെ പിന്നീടങ്ങോട് സംഭവിച്ചത്‌ അവരുടെ കണക്കുകൂട്ടൽ ആയിരുന്നില്ല...

ഈ ചിത്രം ഒരു മ്യൂസിക്കൽ സിനിമാകൂടിയാണ് എന്ന് വേണെങ്കിൽ പറയാം. കാരണം നായകന് സംഗീതത്തോട് വലിയ പ്രണയമാണ്, അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ സ്ക്രീനിൽ എപ്പോഴും സംഗീതം നിറഞ്ഞുനിൽക്കുന്നു.

ചിത്രം ഒരിടത്തുപോലും പ്രേക്ഷകരെ മുഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നില്ല. അത്രയ്ക്ക് വേഗത്തിലാണ് ചിത്രം മുന്നോട്ട് പോകുന്നത്. ഓരോ സീനിലും പ്രേക്ഷകരെ ആകാംക്ഷയിലാക്കാൻ സംവിധായകന് കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്. ചുരുക്കിപ്പറഞ്ഞാൽ ഒറ്റയടിക്ക് ഇരുന്ന് കണ്ടുതീർക്കാൻ പറ്റുന്ന അല്ലെങ്കിൽ കണ്ടുതീർക്കേണ്ട ചിത്രം.

2017ൽ റിലീസ് ചെയ്ത അമേരിക്കൻ സൂപ്പർനാച്ചുറൽ ഹൊറർ സിനിമയാണ് #wishupon.

ക്ലെയർ കുഞ്ഞുന്നാളിലെ അവളുടെ അമ്മ ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്യുന്നത് നേരിട്ട് കാണാനിടയായി. വളർന്ന് വലിയ കുട്ടിയായപ്പോഴും ആ ഓർമ്മകൾ എന്നും അവളെ വേട്ടയടിയിരുന്നു. അവളുടെ അച്ഛന്റെ ഒരു വിനോദമായിരുന്നു പഴയ സാധനങ്ങൾ ശേഖരിക്കുക എന്നത്. അങ്ങനെ ഒരിക്കൽ അയാൾക്ക് ഒരു ചൈനീസ് മ്യൂസിക് ബോക്സ് കിട്ടുകയും അത് അയാൾ മകൾക്ക് സമ്മാനമായി നൽകുകയും ചെയ്തു. പക്ഷേ പിന്നീട് അവിടുന്ന് സംഭവിച്ചതൊക്കെ വിചിത്രമായിരുന്നു… ഏഴ് ആഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ ആ മ്യൂസിക് ബോക്സ് സാധിച്ചു തരും, പക്ഷേ അവസാനത്തേത്….

Geostorm is an upcoming American disasterscience-fiction action film co-written, co-produced and directed by Dean Devlin as his feature debut. The plot follows a satellite designer who tries to save the world from a storm of epic proportions caused by malfunctioning climate-controlling satellites.

In the near future, when climate-controlling satellites malfunction and release disaster-creating small pods all over the world, Jake Lawson and his other fellow astronauts head into space to prevent the satellites from programming the small pods into creating a storm of epic proportions. They soon discover that the disaster wasn’t caused by a malfunction, but was done intentionally, and the only person who has the kill codes to shut down the satellites is U.S. President Andrew Palma.
