The second genders in a/b/o fascinates me bc that must mean there are trans people too. Like, there's gotta be ota/b folk that hate when they have a heat and hate how sweet they smell. There has to be ato/b ppl that get surgery to remove their knots to present more as a beta, or go through medical treatment to lessen, sweeten, or remove their scent altogether. Imagine a bto/a person that uses a very specific perfume/cologne to match what theyd like to smell like bro. They probaby have places and clinics where you can mix and buy artificial scents that change based on how you're feeling by using wacky science. Imagine the euphoria of a transalpha finally being able to smell like the smokey wood on a windy night they always imagined theyd smell like or a transomega finally being able to smell like the glazed filet mignon after sunset scent they always knew theyd smell like. And now they can finally do it. Its real crazy man

About an issue in this fandom

Warnings for racism and black Jojo discourse. . . . . . . . . While to some to degree I get that people do shipping-wars (and let me tell you, I find them utterly stupid, but I accepted that antis and anti-antis seem to be like a franchise/McDonald’s for every fandom), I absolutely cannot understand how it can be controversial to racebend characters to be black or of colour?

It literally harms nobody at fucking all!

I am a nonblack WOC, with dark features and honestly, I am happy to see my faves having some of my features.

Features, that I got bullied for almost all my fucking life and still get followed by securities in the shops or get disgustingly racist comments for. Or completely avoided. In 2017, crashing towards 2018. Aside from always needing to evaluate where in my country I go, because there are neonazi hot zones (and there are quite a bunch) I literally cannot enter, without being at least beat up, if not killed, which a white person will never deal with.

I already hear some white leftists (or other groups with an able or cis-passing body) crying about being oppressed, but sweeties, you can always take off your antifa-buttons and leftist indicators or dye your hair a ‘normal’ colour. I can’t pull off my skin or get any of my other features surgically removed - I am stuck with being a target. Forever.

If black or people of colour want to make their favourite characters look like them, it does not harm you. It does not take away representation from you. You’re not oppressed.

The canon is already white and aside from that, whiteness is catered literally fucking everywhere and you cannot tell me anything about having a lack of representation or editing characters to be black/of colour to be racist.

You all get diverse white characters, that feel relatable, while POC/black people are still more than often, stuck with clichéd, half-assed or just bad representations of their race/culture. Most of you people believe for example, that arab= automatically muslim or other simplistic stuff you never really evaluated or thought about, because you never had to. While non-whites have to know every nook and cranny of white culture, otherwise they would be ‘uncultured’ or simply stupid.

Nobody is changing the canon or telling freaking Araki to only draw black/POC characters. In the end, it is just a bunch of fans who are having fun appreciating themselves and brighten other non-white people’s day that way.

I am so extremely disappointed in the JoJo-fandom for making this an issue. Or even bullying the people creating these edits. You all need to sit down and put on the thinking cap.

Trans people (both binary and nonbinary) can be straight

Bisexual, pansexual, omnisexual, and polysexual people don’t always want to be called gay, part-gay, “basically gay”, etc.

Asexual people can be heteroromantic & label themselves as straight

Aromantic people can be heterosexual & label themselves as straight

Intersex people can be straight

And there’s probably other examples that arend coming to mind either
