1. Tenacity Turf Herbicide
Product Highlights
A popular product on the market. Its versatility lies in the fact that it can be used as a pre- and post-emergence control. It can work on more than 46 broadleaf weed and grass species.
The highlight of this product is that has an active ingredient, called mesotrione. This occurs in a naturally occurring compound produced by the bottlebrush plant also known as Callistemon citrinus. Best Grub Killer for 2020 [Our Reviews and Comparisons]
Maintaining a lawn can be quite a daunting task. In addition to constantly fertilizing and watering it, you also have to be aware of tiny organisms that can cause long-lasting damage to them. Under such conditions, the best thing to do would be to purchase a good grub killer.
Nowadays there are effective grub killer products online that not only take care of the grubs and other insects but also ensure that your lawn and the surrounding plants do not get affected or spoilt. Therefore you need to check the ingredients before you invest in any product. You must assess your land and plants, check the coverage area, weather conditions, and only then decide on a particular product. Listed below are some of the top useful grub killer products.
Our Best Grub Killer Reviews and Comparisons
1. Bonide Annual Grub Killer
Product Highlights
The Bonide Annual Grub Killer is the perfect product for long term usage. Once you apply it kills all the grubs for the entire season while also preventing its hatching. Additionally, it is known to destroy mole crickets, beetles, European Crane Fly eggs, and other killing insects.

Features
Bonide Annual Grub Beater can cover up to 5,000 sq ft. It is a systemic insecticide that destroys grub worms with Imidacloprid 0.5 percent. It also destroys grass killing insects such as European larvae and mole crickets. Compare the annual Grub Beater of Merit G with the same active ingredient. The annual Grub Beater can be used on natural grass, gardens, and ornamentals. This annual grub killer can be used in spring through late summer and will last for a long time during the season.
However, the optimal time to make use of the active ingredient in this formula, which has ample residual activity, precedes the egg-laying activity of the target pests. High levels of control can be obtained when applications are rendered prior to or during the egg-laying period.
Just a one-time program kills grubs all season long. It provides seasonal grub protection for almost all turf-degrading grub species. If you want better results then you should wait till mid-August. The active ingredient is imidacloprid which is the same as Merit G. It stops eating automatically and kills easily.

2. Spectracide Triazicide Insect Killer
Product Highlights
In the middle of summer, we often find brown spots on our lawns. If it is dark or mottled, browning can be a symptom of lawn pests. To try, select a spot in the infected area of your lawn and stretch the grass blades so that the surface roots are clear – this will give you a clearer view of the turf-feeding bugs. If the browning is fairly even around the whole yard, it’s most likely caused by the hot weather.
A tough lawn grub can do serious harm to your lawn and landscape. Whitish and C-shaped, grubs feed on grass roots, leaving lawns unable to extract the requisite water and nutrients from the soil. Grubs are very active throughout the summer – adult females typically lay their eggs in the soil throughout July, and the newly hatched grubs begin to feed on turf roots at the beginning of August, allowing vegetation to die.
Whether you’re thinking about the host of insects out there hunting for the perfect lawn or garden to enjoy. Spectracide Triazicide Insect Killer drugs are aimed for wide-spectrum management of grubs or aquatic insects, or your management of rodents in the grass, greenhouse, or landscape.

If you do wait for 4- 6 weeks till you apply a weed killer or fertilizer then you will not disrupt it from working in a thatch layer. The active ingredient in Hi-Yield Grub Killer is Imidacloprid which constitutes around 0.5%.
If you want effective control then it can be attained when you apply it before or during the egg-laying period. The time to apply can be based on the results during the past monitoring of the site, in addition to the previous records, experiences, current season adult trapping, or other methods. With proper irrigation after application before egg hatch will bring the best results.
If in any case, you want to maximize the output then irrigating the land 24 hours before will help move the active ingredient through the thatch. The same goes for rainfall. May not apply when the turfgrass fields are waterlogged or the soil is saturated with water. Adequate delivery of the active component can not be accomplished if these conditions occur.
The region to be handled must be capable of allowing the vertical intrusion of runoff or drainage water. Stop mowing grass or lawn field before adequate irrigation or rainfall has happened to ensure uniformity.
Do not use more than 80 lb (0.4 lb of the active ingredient) per acre a year. Do not apply this substance to Basswood or Linden or Tilia species by any form of use. Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III is a functional component that is passed upwards throughout the plant system.
For better monitoring, pursue applications with sufficient mechanical absorption, irrigation, or rainfall to transfer the active ingredient to the soil. Irrigation or rainfall may occur within 24 hours of operation. Apply to achieve optimal protection due to insect infestation.
Until deployment, eliminate black plastic or other weed barrier substance that does not permit water permeability. After use, stop leakage or pudding of irrigation water. Stop the application of Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III to areas where the water is logged or soaked, which would not allow the root zone of the plant to be penetrated.

Final Verdict
The most effective product out the list is the Spectracide Triazicide Insect Killer. It effectively digs out every last piece of grub and ensures that there is also prevention. This product is perfect for homeowners as well as agriculturalists who own large tracts of land with different types of vegetation.
It is a water-soluble concentrate that can be used with a spray. It can also be connected to a hose in case you want to spray over a wide coverage area. It kills the grubs from the time the eggs are laid and eradicates them layer by layer by completely getting absorbed in the soil.
General Information:
All About Grubs
Grubs are small, white, C-shaped larvae of Japanese beetles, June beetles, and chafers (to name a few). They live just below the grass root system and feed on grassroots and plants.
Grubs can do serious harm as, after feeding on grassroots, they transform into pupae, which hatch into beetles. These beetles feed on flowers as well as plants. Besides, they lay their eggs on the lawn in the summers. When Fall arrives, those eggs then hatch into grubs, and the entire vicious cycle starts again when the grubs emerge in the coming season.
There are a few signs that you might have a grub problem with that. If your lawn has some unusual patches that look as if the lawn is wilting or is covered in brown turf especially when the weather does not indicate any hotness or dryness, then you can be sure it is the grubs.
Any areas of the lawn that is dug up indicate unwelcomed visitors searching for grubs. Because grubs damage the lawn’s root system, you can pick up the turf like a piece of carpet to check for grubs (use gloves if you try this!)
Little white “C’s” found in the dirt, also indicates grubs. Find more than five within a square foot of turf, your grub problem has escalated and treatment must be immediate.
Grub Killers
When you know that you have grubs, the main thing to work on is removing the eggs that have been laid in the lawn so they can hatch and burrow into the dirt for a long winter nap. Applying grub therapy between late May and mid-July is a successful option.
There are two compounds, carbaryl, and trichlorfon, which are considered curative. They are short-lived substances that disrupt all phases of grub life. These two insecticides are the only choice if a large number of grubs are found in the fall and in the spring before the beginning of May. 20-80 percent of grubs will be eliminated when used in September or 20-55 percent when applied at the end of October. Compared to preventive compounds they are not as effective in reducing grub numbers.
Think carefully if it would be better to postpone to apply a preventive action later. If it is appropriate to use a curative agent, ensure that the infested grass is watered and fertilized and that the field is remedied for protective use next summer or that the disease is likely to recur in the fall or the following season.
Buyers Guide:
Before you decide to go ahead and buy a Grub Killer, there are certain aspects to consider before you shell out your money on one. Below we have listed some points for you to look into.
Brands
The best brands that can cater to your grubs problem are BioAdvanced Grub and Insect Killers, Bonide Annual Grub Killer, Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III, and Spectracide Triazicide Insect Killer to name a few. Most of these contain the active ingredient Imidacloprid which has proven to be quite effective in the killing of grubs and other insects.
Composition and Ingredients
When you decide to buy a grub killer, the first and most important thing you need to look out for is the composition or the ingredients. Some grub killers will come only with the active ingredient for fighting against beetles and others may only be just a controller. They may not kill them, however, they may in the future protect and prevent.
Trichlorfon and Carbaryl are the active ingredients (chemicals) that kill the grubs. They kill all sorts of bugs in any stage of life. Chlorantraniliprole is another active ingredient that is found in the well-known pesticide GrubEx.
The ingredients and compositions are usually written on the right side of the box, or the bottom. But we suggest, before you make the purchase, check the ingredients and their formulation. It should be worth the time and money you spend.
Product Amount
Using too much of the substance, or too little, can result in hyperactivity or hypoactivity. Although both practices are detrimental to your turf/lawn, using only the right quantity of product would definitely deliver the best results. So, how do you know that you have to use the right amount of the product?
Most of the time, the product label lists the amount applicable to a fixed area. For instance, 20 pounds per 10,000 square feet. Also, these labels tell you the side effects of using too much. So be sure to check all these points before considering any grub killer.
Grub Killer/Controller vs Insecticides
A grub killer and insecticide are two different things. So one thing that you need to make sure is that the problem is about grubs. If this happens to be the case, then don’t try to use any insecticide for that. The problem of grubs is a burning issue in most European countries such as the Upper and Lower Peninsula of Michigan. Henceforth, the distinction between a grub and a normal garden insect is important.
Grubs are usually larvae of the beetles that are more common in North America. These grubs do not kill the stem or any other visible part of the plant or crop, but they most often strike the turf or roots and make the survival of grass poor. Other insects on the other hand will damage the leaves, stem, and other parts of the plan as well.
Grub Controller vs Grub Killer
One of the most important things to know is the difference between a grub controller and a grub killer. If you are not aware of this, then let us tell you that a grub killer is something that you need to consider purchasing when you face the issue of grubs in your lawn. On the other hand, a grub controller/preventer can be used in the near future when you want to be protected from the grubs.
However, a grub controller definitely works better in every way than grub killers, but we can’t deny that a grub killer is a perfect remedy when your lawn is packed with those little beetle larvae.
Guidelines for Use
Ensure that you always read up on how to use the grub killer. There could be questions like should you water your lawn after an application? Well, with some products it is possible for you to water the lawn for best results after application; however, some may just have the opposite impact.
For instance, if the grub killer is granular or in powdered form, watering the area after use increases assimilation and it is easily absorbed. On the other hand, if the powder or granule is insoluble in water, certainly it would have a reverse effect.
Frequently Asked Questions ( FAQs)
Are grub killers pet friendly?
Unfortunately, no! They’re not safe to use around pets and even children. It is recommended that they are kept away for around 24-48 hours after application.
What is the best time of the year to use a grub killer?
Ideally, the preventive compound Chlorantraniliprole should be used during the months of April and May as this is when the grubs damage the turf. To kill grubs during Spring and Fall, make sure you use Carbaryl or Trichlorfon.
Are all grub killers water soluble? Can water be sprinkled in the field after use?
Most grub killers are water-soluble, except for some like Scotts Grub Killer. So check the description of the product when you are making a purchase, you will find a detailed description of the product. Only if a product is water-soluble than you use water, else when buying one which is not, make sure you don’t sprinkle water.
Can it be spread with bare hands?
Generally, it’s not advised to use your bare hands for such kind of products, but you can always use disposable gloves to do. After all, these products have chemicals, so it’s not advised.
Do grub killers harm flowers and bushes?
The good news, grub killers don’t harm any flowers or bushes. They are solely made to kill grubs and nothing else.
Can grub killers be used in vegetable farms?
Yes, grub killers can be used in vegetable farms, however, ensure that the product doesn’t reach the roots of edible crops.
Will grass grow back after grubs are damaged?
If extensive root damaged has been caused by the larvae or lawn grubs, then the grass in your lawn may not able to grow back due to the lack of moisture and nutrients. At its worst, the grass will peel back from the surface as the roots would have been eaten away.
How does grub damage look like in a lawn?
If grubs have been dwelling and eating away your lawn, then there will be irregular brown patches within the lawn.
Grubs can destroy your lawn or fields completely; therefore, it’s really essential you choose the best grub killer to get rid of those stubborn grubs. The moment you see those grubs destroying your beautiful lawn, take action immediately and use the best of the best product to do so.
We hope our list of products, buyer guide, and frequently asked questions will help you make the right choice according to your needs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
How should one use fertilizers for St.Augustine grass?
You should begin by mixing the granules before the application. Some products are chosen usually come in the form of fine granules which in turn have are meant to be mixed with water and sprayed. The instructions on the package of the fertilizer are clear as to how the granules should be mixed. Another added advantage is that you can control how concentrated the mixture can be. You always have the option of diluting it if you require something less potent. You can also add extra water so that give yourself more time while applying it to your whole yard. Some of the products we have selected come in the form of fine granules that are intended to be blended and sprayed with water. The fertilizer kit should have specific instructions about how to combine the granules. The great thing about this kind of fertilizer is you monitor how concentrated it is. If you want anything less strong then you can dilute it.
Can the Fertilizer be mixed with liquids before application?
Using a sprayer is an easy way to use this fertilizer on the grass of St. Augustine. Some fertilizers come prepared and mixed in a wide bottle with an incorporated sprayer hose attachment which is one of the most convenient application methods. If you are combining either granular or liquid fertilizer, you need to get some form of a sprayer. Hose sprayers are the simplest since, like the pre-mixed fertilizers, they are easy to use and mount right to your garden hose. Another alternative will be to invest in a sprayer. These come in several ways, usually either a tank you’re carrying around or one you can wear as a backpack. These sprayers are typically used with a pump and a wand and allow you to travel around your yard. The simplest method of using a sprayer is first to do the edges of the grass. Then move back and forth until all of your lawn is covered. It is not easy to apply liquid fertilizer. While hose sprayers may be very convenient, it’s hard to make sure you get an even application all over your lawn.
What is the most effective way to use products with granules?
Many granules are intended to be added directly to the lawn and not to be mixed and sprayed with water. You must be careful about applying the bottle or package side directions. If you use a transmitted spreader then it is going to be even more effective in dispersing the granules. Of course, it is no easy task, especially by hand. If you do not have a broadcast spreader, then it is suggested that you get one that is sold in most home improvement stores. The first thing you have to do is make sure that the spreader is adjusted properly for the size of your lawn and the amount of fertilizer that you add. This calibrates the mechanism to uniformly release the granules as you head out across the yard. To stop run-off later, fill the spreader with the granules on a rough surface, making careful to clean any spills. You can start at the edge of the lawn, and progress slowly. The easiest way to ensure that you do not lose any places is to try repeating with the wheel line left in the grass from the previous run over the lawn. Water the grass properly, after fertilization. This releases the granules in a manner that transfers the nutrients into the soil and allows the fertilizer to spread down to the surface. It also means that the granules are not swept away with
Should the soil be tested for phosphorus levels?
According to researchers phosphorus levels in soil hardly change especially over short periods. So, you can gather soil samples and submit them to a test lab to assess levels of phosphorus. It will be more beneficial if you can test the soil within one year of turf establishment. Soil samples can be taken as long as the soil is not frozen at any point of the year. The optimal scenario will be to gather soil and send the sample(s) to a research laboratory as close as possible to the time of formation. Just make sure to give the laboratory time to process the samples and return your report with advice on phosphorus. Besides, construct the report in a few days to understand and buy the right quantity and type of fertilizer.
What is the most ideal time for fertilizers to be applied to the St.Augustine Grass?
When applying a starter fertilizer, there are certain things to be kept in mind. It is ideal when you apply before seeding or before laying sod. In some cases, you can apply it after you plant your grass seed. Do not add it directly to freshly planted sod because it may occur while burning. In fact, after planting, you can wait six to eight weeks before adding another dose of balanced fertilizer to your grass so it does not burn. The Penn State Extension advises doing a soil test when it comes to determining how much starting fertilizer for the lawn you’ll need. The test will mention exactly what nutrients in the soil need to beef up to support your turf is grown and how much is required. Nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium are the three most essential nutrients that your turfgrass requires for healthy growth and health. The application of the starter fertilizer into the soil before planting has advantages. If phosphorous and potassium are added only to the soil surface they are unable to travel quickly enough down into the earth. Moreover, nitrogen can be quickly leached from the soil before the plant even gets a chance to consume the nutrients. Therefore, it is possible to till 4 to 6 inches of soil with any additional modifications that you make. However, if you wish, after continuing to spread your grass seed, you can distribute the starter fertilizer over the site immediately.
How should the fertilizer be applied?
If you have earned your soil test, you have chosen a good starter fertilizer for your soil and know the requisite quantities. It is relatively easy to apply to the lawn field. Simply pour the appropriate volume into a regular fertilizer spreader and distribute the starter fertilizer equally over the place of planting. If you are planting grass seed or sod after application, work the substance 4 to 6 inches into the soil until applied. If after adding grass seed you are spraying the substance, scatter the substance over the soil and pour it into the soil. Do not go crazy in its use and assume it is easier to do something. Like for certain aspects in life, too much of a good thing can be terrible, and too much starter fertilizer can be adversely affected by burning to your growing grass. A soil test takes the suspense out of what your soil is missing and lets you know what starter fertilizer your lawn wants and how much it wants. We hope our list of products and FAQs help you purchase the Best St. Augustine Grass Fertilizer according to your requirements.

Designed to thicken the grass and make it lush, it can be used to notice bare spots on your lawn. The thicker turf provides the advantage of crowding out weeds. In fact, it is a chemical that retards the weed from photosynthesizing and you may not have to use a weed killer as they no longer have space to grow. The effects are visible within 2 -3 weeks of spraying.

FAQ’s
When should Bermuda grass be fertilized?
It is extremely essential that when fertilizing the Bermuda grasses, the timing is particularly right. Here is a timeline you can refer to: Ideally, this grass is planted around January and by mid-spring which is usually March through April, it flourishes and grows a luscious green. As the temperatures rise to 60 to 65 degrees Fahrenheit and remain constant you have your ideal moment to apply the fertilizer of your choice. The frost is over and the grass is about halfway green, a clear indicator that the time is right.
This process has to continue in the summer or mid-summer. This application comes two or three months after the first application and covers the months of late June to early July. In the fall that is late August or early September, you should use another round of application to the same grass instead of planting new ones. At this point make sure that your fertilizers have a slow-release solution that contains more nitrogen compared to ingredients in NPK.
Bermuda grass should not be fertilized in winter as it encourages growth more than required killing it in the process.
How much fertilizer should be used for Bermuda Grass?
There are several common ways to determine how much fertilizer to use irrespective of the NPK ratios and brand. Firstly, take check the nitrogen content in the bag or bottle. Typically it requires about 4-5 pounds per 1,000 square feet annually.
If you are by chance inclined towards the purchase of the slow-release type of nitrogen then ensure that you use it three times. You should use this for 1,000 square feet per 1.5 pounds of nitrogen.
There could be discrepancies in the actual amount of nitrogen in the product as most manufacturers do not mention the details. You could however make an estimation based on the weight of the bag and the NPK ratio. Besides try taking the nitrogen percentage shown, and multiply it by the weight of the container. Once you have an idea as to how much nitrogen it contains you can then decide accordingly.
Once you do that work on the amount of coverage. Ideally, it is suggested that you use 1.5 pounds of nitrogen for every 1,000 square feet of Bermuda grass. If you have 6 pounds of nitrogen, you may cover 4,000 square feet of lawn, which you can further breakdown to the ratio of six is to 1.5.
Naturally, you need to know the yard size to effectively weigh the fertilizer and spread them throughout your lawn. This prevents over-fertilization and wastage of grass.
How should Fertilizer be applied to Bermuda Grass?
If you have a handheld or distributed fertilizer then it should be enough to distribute the granular fertilizers. Although you must know the size of your lawn. Ideally, people who purchase liquid fertilizer place the substance being concentrated in a bottle and add it to their hose. You just need to turn the hose on and spray.
We hope our list of the Best Fertilizer for Bermuda Grass helps you make the right choice according to your needs.

What Kind Of Boots Should I Use For Gardening?
The good old garden well has come a long way since it was first invented by the 1st Duke of Wellington in the early 19th Century. There are more styles and colors than the old chap would ever have dreamed of but for we gardeners, the choice can be baffling. Here are a few key things you need to consider when buying a boot and ladies, it’s not just about how they look!
Type of Gardening You Do
There is a massive difference in how people garden, from a little potter around a small plot to landscaping major areas of land. Only you will know how heavy duty your gardening work may be so this is the first consideration in your purchase.
Also, think about how often you garden as a once a week gardener may not have the same requirements as an everyday gardener or gardening professional.
For the Home Garden
Obviously the size of the domestic garden can vary greatly but the chances are that you won’t be doing any very heavy labor. Choose a mid-calf lightweight boot that has a good grip for those muddy days after a downpour.
There are some boots that come with handy Velcro straps which are a great advance in Wellington boot technology as you won’t have trouble getting them on or off.
If you live in a wet climate generally, a Muck Boot may be best for you as these are 100% waterproof whilst at the same time allowing your feet to breathe.
Ordinary wellies are also ok for a little pottering but because they are quite high, not great for kneeling work. They also tend to be much harder to get off than proper gardening boots but if you don’t garden every day, they might be the cheapest option and suit your needs.
For the Landscaper
You will need something a lot more durable so choose a boot for professionals. These will be a little heavier but are made of very durable material that will protect as well as be functional. They have an additional protective layer over the rubber so will last and last so let comfort be your deciding factor. They also have soles that grip even in the worst conditions and the inside is breathable so your feet will not be working as hard as you are!
Make sure that material is flexible to allow you maximum flexibility so that you’re feet are the least of your worries when you’re chopping down trees or putting up fences. You also need to consider a higher boot for added protection.
Ultimately, price is always going to be a factor too so buy for your needs above all else. Get the combination right and you will be a happy gardener as we all know that bad fitting footwear spoils our mood immediately. Where Do You Put Plants In An RV?
Just because you live in an RV does not mean you should miss out on having a few house plants scattered around, after all, some even come with health benefits. The tricky thing is figuring out where on earth can you put them?!
Before deciding on the plant’s location, think about what plants you want to grow. We recommend going for small house plants such as cacti, venus fly traps, or succulents. These are plants that sit nicely on your windowsill, soak up the glorious rays of the sun, and don’t need a lot of watering or maintenance.
If you would rather a larger, more dominant plant that will sit on the ground, look into getting peperomia or African violets. Plants such as these have a lot of presence in your living space, do not need to be watered a lot and they definitely do not like being outside.
Great Places to Put a Plant in Your RV
1.Windowsill
As we mentioned earlier, plants on your RV windowsill brighten up the RV and keep the plants out of the way. If you have a smaller RV, windowsill plants are going to be the best for you.
2. On Tables
Keep the floor space clear and put a nice little plant as a centerpiece on your table instead of vases of flowers that need to be constantly replaced.
3. In Dull Corners
If you have a dull corner that can’t be utilized for anything else, putting a large plant there can really liven the place up, and makes use of all of the space you have in the RV.
Where Not to Put Plants in Your RV
It’s never a good idea to put plants near the driver’s seat or close to appliances that could set the plant on fire. You should also avoid putting plants in narrow walkways or corners of the RV that people could trip over and hurt themselves.
Important RV Responsibilities
If you are taking the time out to think about the interior design and comfort of your RV, you should do the same about its roadside breakdown cover. This is something that doesn’t cross a lot of RV owners’ minds, especially if you are stationary the majority of the time.
Not sure what cover suits your needs? Check out this review of the most popular breakdown cover policies around today and see what one works for you.
Another important responsibility is to keep checking the tire pressure, oil and water in your RV. those of you that travel a lot in your RV probably do this on a regular basis, but people that keep their RV’s stationery for long periods of time forget to check. Doing this every week or so will prevent expensive maintenance work in the long run.
So remember, safety first when picking a spot for your gorgeous plants, and don’t neglect your other responsibilities. We would love to know what plants you chose for your RV and what safe space you put them in!

How To Build A Raised Garden Bed Using Pocket Screws
One of the easiest ways to garden is to plant your flowers, plants and vegetables in raised garden beds. There are so many benefits that come with planting in a raised garden bed.
Some natural soils are too acidic or alkaline for the plants that you want to grow. The annoying thing is that you can’t permanently change the makeup of the natural soil either. Well… you can, but not for a long period of time or without putting in a lot of effort and blood, sweat and tears.
Don’t get too hung up on the chemistry of the soil in your garden, instead, put the ideal soil into raised garden beds and voila. Raised garden beds also look very striking, especially if you already have some flowers or veggies growing directly in the ground in your garden. Let’s not forget that maintaining the health of your plants and soil is so much easier in raised beds.
Forget about purchasing expensive raised beds from garden centers, you can make something even more special and unique for yourself. All you need is some coarse-thread pocket screws (great for softwood as it stops it from splitting), a pocket hole jig (this is a really important tool, check out these top 5 pocket hole jigs to get the right pocket hole jig for you), some wood and basic household tools.
Here is our step by step guide to making your raised garden bed;
First, you need to think about the size and height that you want your garden bed to be. If you can get enough material, make the bed tall enough so that you don’t have to kneel down or bend over too much as you work.
Cut the wood to the size you want, use a circular saw to make the cuts to get the most precise cut without breaking a sweat.
Using your pocket hole jig, create about 3 or 4 pocket holes for each leg.
Use 2 ½ or 3-inch pocket screws to attach the leg boards.
Now that the legs are connected, lay them out on the ground along with the sideboards.
Use 3-inch pocket screws to attach the sideboards to the legs.
Now you have two long sideboards connected to legs, you must now connect the short sideboards to the legs using 2 ½ inch pocket screws. By the end of this section, you will have a four-sided raised garden bed with two long sides and two short sides.
Use your pocket hole jig to create holes on the cap to connect to the body.
Secure with pocket screws.
Make sure the lid is level.
Put a weed cloth at the bottom of the raised garden bed to stop any unwanted plants and weeds contaminating your garden bed.
Finally, add some soil and start panting!
