The first thing I remember about the wedding at Casa Masi in Montaione, were the words that the bride, Jolanta, told me as soon as we met: “I feel uncomfortable being photographed, I don’t look good in photos”. I immediately thought, ” How is that possible? You are so beautiful!”
Actually, as a wedding photographer Tuscany Hills, I understand perfectly the discomfort that you can feel in front of a camera, in front of a person you see for the first time in your life and who will spend the whole day of your wedding by your side shooting a burst of clicks in one of the most intimate and exciting moments of your life.
I thanked Jolanta for confessing to me this fear because knowing it allowed me to work respecting her shyness, not invading her spaces too much and trying to put her at ease. For me all this is essential to the way I conceive the job of a wedding photographer Tuscany Hills.
I can’t tell you how happy I was when I got Jolanta’s message after delivering the photos:
“Hi Laura, just wanted to say massive thank you for capturing the best day of our lives You such a talented person, the pictures are just amazing. You made me so relaxed on the day, which I can’t thank you enough, as you know now, that I am not the biggest fan of getting pictures taken of me”
Well, for me these words are the greatest job satisfaction, much more than having taken a “beautiful” wedding photograph.

Sofia and Emilio, a sweet couple as nice and in love, chose me as their wedding photographer Perugia and decided to organize their wedding at Borgo Colognola using all the spaces available to accommodate more than 100 people.
Sofia’s getting ready was in one of the apartments together with her bridesmaids, a preparation really fun and lively.
The Greek origins of a part of his family flow in his blood, it was fun to witness the general rehearsals of Greek dance. Emilio reached the Borgo with his relatives for the start of the outdoor wedding ceremony in the garden.
The tension was felt by hand but as soon as he saw his beautiful bride, he melted into an emotional smile, like her. An outdoor wedding ceremony really exciting, friends and family who have spent words of affection for these wonderful guys, a strong emotion also for all guests.
At the end of the ceremony, some wedding couple photography in the particular and suggestive onion field adjacent to the Borgo and then gather to friends and toast to this magnificent day. The evocative wedding dinner under the stars in the courtyard of the Borgo all illuminated, was the most fun and attended, interspersed with speeches of friends and relatives and songs and wild dances, to end then with the cutting of the cake in the garden behind the Dimora.

It is rare to find a couple who decide to celebrate their marriage surrounded by the presence of the witnesses and the celebrant only, those indispensable figures to avoid the marriage happening. Working as a wedding photographer in Tuscany I had the opportunity to capture this kind of wedding.
The spouses, together with the wedding planner from Firenze who they have entrusted the organization of the wedding to, asked me to follow their intimate day, which turned out to be full of love and not at all obvious, full of emotion and very delicate. No guest does not mean lack of involvement, indeed, the intimacy and exclusivity of the moment make the event even more exciting.
Their wedding took place in Certaldo Alto, in Tuscany, a medieval village located on the hills in the green Val D’Elsa. By choosing me as their wedding photographer in Certaldo, I only followed their preparation and the celebration of the marriage ceremony. I joined them at Villa Mangiacane, a very elegant location, where I found a delicate and very reserved couple truly in love and happily smiling.
The bride immediately impressed me with her gentle beauty, her elegant ways, and her tender shyness; the groom struck me for his resourcefulness, his sympathy, his colloquial way of speaking, and making me part of a day so important to them. From there we moved to Certaldo Alto, in the center of the small and charming medieval village. The intimate ceremony took place in the cloister of the Palazzo Pretorio of the village, an ancient and suggestive place, fortunately, protected from the storms that accompanied the spouses throughout the day.

I had the honor to take the photos of the wedding of a beautiful couple who chose Villa Caroli Zanchi as the location for their wedding. The elegance and attention to detail characterize this ancient villa full of charm and history, a perfect place to celebrate your wedding.
I often work as a wedding photographer in Lombardy and I must admit I always get very surprised:  the commonplace describes this region as foggy and gray, rich in boring plains, and very static.
In reality, it is not so, thanks to my job as a wedding photographer in Lombardy I discovered incredible and unimaginable places, beautiful landscapes characterized by mountains, blue lakes, immense meadows, historic towns, rustic countryside and also elegant villas.
Carlotta and Paolo’s wedding was definitely one of the most exciting of the entire season. Probably thanks to the beautiful Villa Caroli Zanchi or maybe the leaden skies that created an intimate and perfect atmosphere or thanks to the presence of their particularly welcoming and devoted families, the fact is that the air was full of emotions and was impossible not to be totally pervaded by these. It was really a pleasure and an honor to be their wedding photographer in Lombardy.

When Caeli wrote to me to ask if I was available as a Florence engagement photographer, I thought from the very beginning that he must have been alone since he talked in the first person. When he sent me a photo in order to recognize him, I had an ulterior confirm since it was a personal portrait of himself.
I was so curious about this request and I was thinking about what kind of portraits I could’ve done, but when we met on a Saturday morning in Piazzale Michelangelo I was blown up by the presence of his young wife Kenzie! They come from Los Angeles, but they’ve been separated by the ocean since Caeli works in the army in Vicenza: they decided to live a day outdoor before Kenzie would’ve gone back in California.
We had a walk together from Piazzale Michelangelo, then reaching Basilica di San Miniato al Monte.
As a Florence engagement photographer, I was positively astonished by their shy sweetness, their deep complicity, the lightness of their looks and the strong desire to live the future together!

Recently more and more couples, especially foreigners, decided to organize their wedding outdoors to the Tuscan hills. After all who could blame them? Tuscany is a land that contains history, architectural beauties, art and magnificent landscapes.
There are plenty of locations to get married outdoors in Tuscany, all surrounded by greenery and a stone’s throw from the old medieval villages so charming and where there’s a historical-like atmosphere. The choice between villas, castles, farmhouses and ancient classic houses all around the city, meets the different tastes of all those couples who dream of celebrating their wedding in the Tuscan countryside.
Elise and Howard chose me as their italian wedding photographer in Tuscany. Their wedding took place in one of the wonderful locations that I mentioned earlier, Villa il Paradisino, a historic home with both rustic and elegant taste, surrounded by greenery just outside Firenze. The garden of the Villa was the perfect location to celebrate their outdoor wedding, while the internal courtyard was used to set up tables for dinner with family and friends.
It was really a beautiful party, a beautiful Norwegian couple totally in love and smiling with two beautiful children, surrounded by their devoted and excited families and a group of lively and fun friends. Photographing a wedding with all these premises is really a great pleasure.

To be an engagement photographer Tuscany, and especially in Florence, is not always simple, because of the shyness of the couple (obviously, I’d be also timid in the same situation!) and because of the crowd of tourists that floods the center of the city.  But when Monica wrote me to define our engagement photo session in Florence, I immediately understood that it would be simple with her because it wasn’t a problem for her to meet early in the morning and because she made me understand that she really cared about these photos.
When I met her I was really happy to be able to work with a couple like this. We had a lot of fun walking around Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria, from Piazza del Duomo to Uffizi searching for the sun in a sleeping city still empty. I love speaking with the people, especially with who comes from far and live in a country very different from Italy. Monica was born in New York but lives with her fiancè in Manila and she loves so much Italy that she would like to learn the Italian language to be able to order in the restaurant with more simplicity.

Tim’s and Kristen’s was the first wedding proposal in Florence that I had the honor of photographing as a pre wedding photographer Tuscany. I’m saying so because, in my opinion, the emotions that feel at such a moment are exaggeratedly strong and all concentrate in few minutes.
When Tim wrote to me asking if I was available to arrange with him a surprise wedding proposal, I was happy to be free and to be able to help him.
We decided for the sunset time, that here in Florence it has fantastic gold colors, and, thinking of a place not too crowded, I proposed the Church of San Miniato al Monte. I sent him some photos of the place and Tim was in love with him.
I was really very excited because everything focused on one minute and unexpected risks can scupper everything. Fortunately, it went well but my hands trembled since I saw them climb up the stairs almost until the end of the service.

Tuscany is a wonderful land and, of course, not only its most famous cities are the perfect destinations for a dream wedding. Recently I was lucky enough to work as a wedding photographer Arezzo, a small city with a magnificent land all around.
I was lucky both because I  worked in such an enchanting area of Tuscany and also because I got to know Lindsey and Gianmarco, a very beautiful couple. Their beauty is not a purely aesthetic one (or, at least, not only! This is clearly visible to anyone’s eyes), their beauty is especially the inner one.
The love that they transmit with their eyes can be noticed from the very first glance, and that’s why their wedding album was filled with affection, emotions and tenderness.
They are very private people with great complicity between them, they are totally in love and very ironic.
The bride and the groom have chosen Tuscany as a location for their wedding because the province of Arezzo, the place where Gianmarco was born and raised, also reflects their passion for nature.
They both love nature and always want to get in contact with it, and my job as a photographer,  for this wedding in Arezzo, was also to grasp their genuine and deep relationship with their beloved Tuscan land.
We made a slightly different wedding shooting: we went to the discovery of a magical, rustic but also elegant place, which allowed us to experience their most beautiful day immersed in the green of the trees and surrounded by the transparent waters of a stream hidden in the countryside of the province of Arezzo.

What you are going to see is definitely the pre-wedding photography session on the seaside I prefer. The reason? Simple.
Antonella is my dear friend, the one we call “my best friend” in adolescence, and in adulthood becomes “my alter ego”, even if the thing does not change.
We have met during the course of specialization in psychotherapy, we have spent several times together and we know each other even those things that we sometimes struggle to recognize ourselves.
We are tied by a long line of 225 km, exactly the miles separating Florence from Rimini … a line that it strengthens when we are together and as time passes.
I present them, here they are, during a mini pre-wedding photography service at Rimini beach and along the pier, beautiful smiling and deeply in love … their complicity and their happiness can only be thought of as a fairytale finals…” and they lived happily ever after”.

Fabio and Alessandra decided to get married in Tuscany and when they chose me as their wedding photographer Chianti, I got immediately excited. I really love the area of the Chianti hills that they picked to celebrate their wedding, both because I was born and lived there for many years and also because I adore the rolling hills featured by vineyards and olive groves and all these tastes like home.
That’s why I’m used to shooting in this area of Tuscany and despite I work as a wedding photographer in Tuscany for several years, every time it is pleasure and a new discovery.
Fabio and Alessandra, the bride and the groom, have decided to celebrate their wedding outdoors, at the beautiful Villa Il Petriccio, located on the typical hills of Tuscany. A very special place where you can organize an intimate wedding ceremony in the beautiful setting of the Chianti area, surrounded by vineyards and, of course, by the generous Tuscan hospitality.
The bride, with her princess gown, was really beautiful. As I know her, I might seem partial, but trust me, I’m just saying this out of my professional point of view as a wedding photographer Chianti. The shy and private love that their eyes can make out has made this wedding very touching and special.
All this sweetly emerges through their wedding album, full of moments of love, spontaneous images and romantic photographs taken while the couple was going through the olive groves and vineyards that surround the Villa Il Petriccio in Montespertoli.

I deeply love the Riviera Romagnola (Adriatic Coast): it is the land of good food, of the sea, of carefreeness, fun, and hospitality. It is the land that hosts Rimini, the city of the best Italian entertainment that actually also reserves pleasant surprises: the ancient remnants of Roman structures, small medieval villages, gentle hills, and elegant places full of charm. Deciding to get married in Rimini and surroundings is definitely a winning choice considering how much this land has to offer.
Working as a wedding photographer in Rimini I could see that the territory offers countless variations that satisfy all the different tastes and styles of those couples who decide to celebrate their wedding in this land: someone prefer to celebrate on the hills, others prefer to walk on the sand and others love rustic locations in the green and finally, others want the elegance and luxury of villas.
Matteo and Antonella choose me as a wedding photographer in Rimini to take pictures of their wedding and the party in the delightful rustic-style castle in the countryside around Rimini, more precisely at Palazzo Marcosanti in Santarcangelo di Romagna.
The first word that comes to my mind when I think of Antonella and Matteo’s wedding, is without a doubt “tears”… , of course, tears of joy! Tears that arise from the explosion of emotions so strong to be the only way to let you catch your breath and then dive back into the vortex of events and feelings. It was an honor to be there as a wedding photographer in Rimini and enjoy the show with them despite the great sense of responsibility and the desire that everything went perfectly.

It is actually true that the places where getting married in Tuscany are not lacking. It seems that every corner keeps the beauty of earth and stone and that you can feel a kind of romanticism everywhere, all around this marvelous region.
There are, however, places that remain saved in the hearts more than others, special places that embody love, beauty, tradition and authenticity.
Riccardo and Katharina chose to marry at Castello di Spaltenna, in Gaiole in Chianti and I had the honour of being chose as their wedding photographer in Siena.
It is a charming and ancient fortified monastery, which today is the perfect location to celebrate your wedding in Siena. If you are considering getting married in Tuscany and looking for an enchanted place, exclusive and rich in tradition, a wedding at Castello di Spaltenna is the right choice for you.

It happens often to be searched like a Tuscany engagement photographer by couples just engaged. But this was the first time with an Indonesian couple.
It was really funny because Evelin and her fiancè were completely at ease in front of the camera. They played and joked continuously and the time has really flown.

When someone contacted me for an engagement photography session in Cinque Terre, I am always very happy. Either because taking pictures of a couple in love who has just engaged in a project of life together, it is a privilege; both because the Cinque Terre is a truly beautiful place.
Kevin contacted me a week before this couple’s photoshoot, telling me that he would come to Italy to celebrate his girlfriend’s birthday. For the occasion, he organized a weekend in the Cinque Terre and he would have loved to be able to take the opportunity to take some engagement photos. In fact, Kevin asked Victoria to marry him just a month ago.
I was obviously very happy to be able to say yes. Our only concern was the weather, until the day before it rained incessantly and forecasts put rain even on the day of the photoshoot. We got in touch the night before and decided to try to meet us. It was the right choice because from lunchtime the sky has freed up itself from the clouds and for some time we also had the sun.
It was a very beautiful engagement photography session in Cinque Terre, Kevin and Victoria have two absolutely contagious smiles. They are beautiful and in love, it was really easy to let them express in their natural way of being together and take some pictures that remind them of this special moment.

The first time Clelia contacted me, it was for a pregnancy photography service. Unfortunately, we were not able to take pictures before the baby was born, so, after a few months, Clelia rewrote me proposing to take pictures of their wedding anniversary in Florence.
She told me that she was missing pictures as a just married couple because on their wedding day they couldn’t do them. I was very happy to be able to fulfill their desire and give them a memory of their marriage, even if deferred for a year.

It is not the first time I take after wedding photography in Florence, but this time it was different from the others.
I had the impression of living out of time,  together with this couple.
It will have been their delicacy and their shyness, it will have been the cloudy sky of Florence, it will have been a deserted city …I don’t know.
