he doesn’t understand. she doesn’t blame him - she could never blame him, but he misunderstands her words and the meaning behind him. gentle murphy - a man who’d do anything for her, a man who gives every part of himself to make the world better - he can’t see the obvious truth before them. she lets him speak, takes in every one of his words like it’s gospel. his word is divine, as far as she can tell. she lets him speak, lets him pull her closer, lets him kiss her knuckles like he’s worshipping her, and the entire time she’s trying to fight back tears. 

❝ past tense, handsome. ❞   she tells him softly when his words lull to silence. a tear finally manages to spill over, but it’s not one of sadness.    ❝ i wanted someone to save me. and then you came. ❞    her arms wind around his neck, pulling him against her chest, holding him close.    ❝ don’t you realize you’ve already saved me? every part of me? ❞

          THE  DAY  HE  MET  her was the day his life changed, and he didn’t need to be told that it was for the better. but he doesn’t think he’s saved her -- he knows she doesn’t need saving. things have happened in the woman’s life that strengthened her, made her a better woman than she used to be. although, he can’t imagine that she was bad off before. hands drift to her waist, eyes focusing on her.

          AND  HE  CRACKS  A  crooked grin, looking away to stare at the wall. ❝ i didn’t save ye, baby. i didn’t. ❞ he raises his shoulders, lips pressing a quick but gentle kiss to her cheek. ❝ ye saved yerself. i was jus’ there, along for the ride. maybe i helped, i’unno. but i didn’t do a whole lot, i promise ye that. ❞ murphy takes a deep breath, looking at her once more. ❝ ye mean everythin’ t’me, alrigh’ ? ❞

          HE  FROWNS  AS  HE  glances towards the other, brows furrowed. he’s unsure of what brought up such topic, although he supposes he could chalk it up to the other’s plain worries. murphy pulls charlie closer, arms wrapping around his waist carefully.❝ just ‘cause ‘m quiet, baby, don’t mean ‘m unhappy. alrigh’ ? ❞ lips press a gentle kiss to the man’s forehead, hands gripping his hips now.❝ don’t look too much into me, baby, there ain’t much to see. shit ain’t as deep as ye think. ❞

but what i think is that. no one realizes how good @limelited is because she is so good and honestly i wouldn’t have like 50% of the blogs i have now if i hadn’t met her and i wouldn’t enjoy being on here as much if i hadn’t met her and honestly it was all by chance which is obviously how Things Work on this hellsite but my day genuinely does not feel right if i don’t talk to her and i know i can come to her for anything and she knows she can come to me for anything she needs and just 

look there’s a million and one things i could say about lana and her muses but all of it can be summed up to: i love her with my entire heart and i will defend her until the ends of this earth because if it wasn’t for lana then shit just wouldn’t be right
