“Stay afraid but do it anyway. What’s important is the action. You don’t have to wait to be confident. Just do it and eventually the confidence will follow.”

“If you don’t go after what you want, you’ll never have it. If you don’t ask, the answer is always no. If you don’t step forward, you’re always in the same place. − Nora Roberts”

I’m the only person on who can work towards my success. If I don’t, it won’t happen. Unless I put the time, passion and commitment in, my potential will remain just that. I have to remember to keep my foot on the gas, to get out of the habit of putting things off, of waiting for a better moment. The best time to start working towards the future I want is always right now. There’s always something I can be doing towards it, small or large. I need to maintain my momentum instead of just aimlessly drifting towards rosy ‘what if’s’. I need to focus on what it is I want to do on this planet, I need to turn the hypothetical into the actual. I need to make it happen. I can and I will.

You can’t compare and rank heartache. Pain is pain. There is no precise measurement. No quarter cup.

Technology: A Slippery Slope
Technology was meant to be our saving grace, To make our lives easier, More free time to be with the ones we love This was a false promise The more technology we have The more we expect to get done In the age of the internet we want Anything at any time Once upon a time weekends were sacred Businesses couldn’t take orders So employees weren’t needed to produce There was time for family and spirituality And the ability to do things more quickly Means more pressure to get things done Which means less patience for taking time Less patience for teaching our children
If we’re not teaching our children We are distracting them, keep them quiet Queue more technology Queue fewer lessons  We want to preserve childhood and innocence But we don’t teach our children life skills We don’t have the time to be patient When they’re old enough, they’re not interested  And if our children don’t learn life skills How are they to teach them to the next generation Without skills how will they succeed? I guess they’ll watch a tutorial on YouTube...

Together, we must
We need to stop bickering over policy Of course our nation is confused We have no unified vision of the future We argue over the myopic Incremental changes We pay homage to the dead We ignore the needs of the living We tug-of-war in four year bursts It has to stop Let us create a vision of the future Let us find the values we agree on We can build from there This stagnation is killing us It is killing our planet Can we just stop Let us do it together
Together, we can Together, we must

Stuck
I have all these ideas in my head,
like how to solve the world’s problems
but when I sit down to write them out
I can’t seem to find the words

And sometimes that means moving on.
i think one of the healthiest things you can do in life is to associate yourself with people who are on your level in life
