Every web page has a unique URL. Some links are simple and concise; others are long and with a complex structure. When optimising a website, you should consider the effect of link length and the maximum link length allowed. What are URLs? A Uniform Resource Locator, or URL, is a web page's address that specifies its location on the Internet. The link to the page is located in the browser's address bar. The standard URL format includes: data transfer protocol, such as https://; domain name; the path from the domain name to the page, which includes a chain of directories and subdirectories; may contain special parameters and anchors, such as the GET method used to retrieve a resource's contents. The domain name is included within the URL. Other components appearing after the domain name may vary in length and content. The final result is dependent on the names of the directories and the destination page. The URL syntax permits the use of letters, numbers, and special characters. How long should a URL be? Browser URL length restrictions The maximum length of a URL in the address bar is 2048 characters. However, the successful processing of extra-long links by a browser does not guarantee that a search engine robot will also be able to do so. The URL for the correct page is 75 characters long. Regarding the indexing of documents with lengthy URLs (over 75-120 characters), they are generally indexed quite well, although ranking issues may arise. Here you can view the maximum URL length supported by various browsers. Browser Max URL length in address bar Google Chrome 32779 Android Firefox 8192 Safari 64k Internet Explorer >64k Microsoft Edge 2047   Is there anything else I can do to enhance the quality of my URLs? Consider the big picture and keep URLs simple when creating them for SEO purposes. Ensure that your URLs contain relevant keywords to the page's content. For web crawlers, a shorter URL is preferable. Follow the steps below to find out more: 1. Make the URL rich in keywords The domain name should contain the primary keyword. Each page's address should contain the search query used to promote it. The search query entered into the search bar is highlighted in bold not only in the site's title and description, but also in its address. Therefore, it is essential to construct the URL with care: users will pay attention to it and consider it when choosing a link. 2. Use hyphens rather than underscores If the URL contains multiple words, they should be separated by hyphens. Google indexes each individual word in phrases containing underscores and each individual word in phrases containing dashes/slashes. Google treats the underscore as a connection. The structure of serpstat_tool will be treated as a single, unbreakable word. 3. Ensure that URLs are easily readable If a person cannot understand the text of the URL, neither will the search engine. Due to the fact that many people read URLs before clicking on them, search engines strive to make it as simple as possible for them to comprehend the page's content. 4. Do not use Cyrillic in URLs Each Russian letter is encoded as a string of six characters; the characters in the address bar will appear differently than they did in the URL. Use only Latin characters and URL with numbers in page addresses. 5. With robots.txt, you can stop spam The robots.txt file facilitates communication between the website and search engines. Virtually every website contains pages that the webmaster does not want search engines to index, such as sites with duplicate content. Using robots.txt, you can make these undesirable indexing pages invisible to search engines. 6. Utilise lowercase letters in the URL There must be no purpose for using capital letters in a URL. Capital letters are baffling to both humans and search engines. According to the search engine, these are two distinct pages with identical informa
tion. In this manner, duplicates are produced. If this rule is violated, page indexing could be affected. 7. Do not exceed 3-5 words Longest links are not fully displayed in search results, reducing the importance of keywords in search engines' views, so it's important to consider URL length limit. 8. Include Mobile URL Details in the Sitemap Indicate to search engines that your site is optimised for mobile devices. Mobile friendliness influences mobile search results. Include mobile devices in the sitemap for URL optimisation security.   Do URLs with spaces affect SEO? For optimal SEO URL structure, the URL should not contain unimportant characters. URLs are not allowed to contain spaces. Depending on their location within a URL, different restrictions apply to the correct encoding of spaces. Spaces in a title frequently cause mistakes. Some content management systems circumvent this limitation by replacing spaces with plus signs or %20 strings. How does link length influence URL length and usability? The length of URL links is primarily significant for the average user. Long URLs typically extend beyond the visible portion of the address bar and have a complex structure, so it is preferable to adhere to the maximum length. When copying and pasting such a link onto a third-party resource or into a text file, its text may span multiple lines. Links with a maximum of three easily understood and engaging words appear more appealing than those with more than three words. Consequently, their clickability may be increased. If you must manually enter a lengthy URL in the address bar, it will take a significant amount of time. SEO URL size In terms of search engine optimisation and user-friendliness, short links are frequently preferable to lengthy ones. Breadcrumbs support a maximum URL length of 200 characters. Since the user factor plays a significant role in website ranking, the presence of clear and structured content on web pages improves the behavioural factors of the entire resource and, consequently, the likelihood of being viewed by a larger audience. Changing the URL of a page to make it concise and informative is one way to influence its position in search engine results.   Principles of URL construction Creating a link structure Large web pages with a complex category and subcategory structure can have lengthy URLs. The optimisation of links involves the reduction of their layered structure. According to search engine optimisation, shorter URLs are preferable. For instance, a common link might look like this: mysite.com/1/2/3/4/5/item100.html, where points 1-5 are the component directory chains. Link improvement: mysite.com/catalog/item100.html. Here, we observe a decrease in nest size. Utilising optimised links positively impacts user factors. Setting up a SEF URL Friendly links are so-called because they are readable by humans. Such links facilitate copying and are quite informative for search engines. A SEF URL, or Search Engine Friendly URL, indicates that the URL is search engine friendly. The optimised link text makes the web page address more informative and appealing, and also enables the use of important promotional keywords. The SEF URL allows you to customise the length of the URL and uses the same language as the website in the link text. Configuring URLs in CMS Several website management systems allow for the configuration of CMS URL settings for page URLs. Some systems, such as OpenCart, by default, generate the content specified in the header of the H1 page in a similar URL. The SEF URL option in Joomla must be activated. Utilise the Yoast plugin in Wordpress to generate optimised URLs. A link that reflects the page's content and includes keywords makes sense for SEO marketing. The correct URL is distinguished by brevity, information, and keywords. An SEO specialist is responsible for creating such page addresses and adhering to the websit
e's structure. Another reason for optimising the URL length is that the link to the page is displayed in the browser's address bar and in the search results as part of the snippet. The portion of the link that did not fit within the visible snippet area will be omitted. On the search results page, we shorten lengthy links. WordPress' standard URL length is 200 characters.   Conclusion When optimising a website, it is preferable to prioritise concise and informative links over lengthy URLs with complex structures. The page address should be concise, logical, user-friendly, and keyword-rich. Such links have an effect on the overall appeal of your website and your SEO. Even though popular browsers can process links of up to 2000 characters in length, their final length should not exceed 75 characters. This URL length will increase the likelihood of successful page processing by search engines and positively impact website optimisation.

Apple presented the latest version of its operating system, iOS 17, last June, which is still under beta testing, and is scheduled to become ready for use later this September, simultaneously. With the launch of new iPhones. “iOS 17” represents a major release of the “Apple” operating system, which upgrades the phone communication experience, “FaceTime” service, and messaging, makes sharing easier with the “AirDrop” feature, and provides smarter inputs that improve the speed and accuracy of typing. iOS 17 also introduces new experiences with “Journal,” an all-new app coming later this year that makes it easier for people to get into the habit of journaling, in addition to “Stand By,” a new way to display information that can be seen when “” iPhone” and charge it. Major upgrades to the phone experience The phone app will receive major updates with custom contact stickers, providing a new way for users to express themselves. Users can customize the way they appear, give incoming calls a whole new look, choose how to display photos or Memoji, as well as select the font and color. Custom contact stickers are also available for third-party contact apps. Live voicemail gives users the ability to see transcripts in real time when someone leaves a voicemail, and provides the opportunity to respond while the caller is leaving their message based on what is said. Spam calls identified by carriers as direct voicemail will not be notified to the user and will instead be rejected immediately. New features for “FaceTime” The “FaceTime” application in the new version of the operating system supports audio and video messages, so the person on the other end can leave you a video recording or audio message if you do not answer the call. FaceTime calls also now support reactions, such as hearts, balloons, fireworks, lasers, and rain. As for the Apple TV 4K update, it allows FaceTime to work on large screens at home. Using the Continuity Camera, the Apple TV 4K acts as a camera for a FaceTime call, so users can now start a video call directly from their iOS device, or start the call on their iPhone and then transfer it to their iOS device. The Center Stage feature gives users the perfect frame even while moving around the room, along with all the other FaceTime features, including transferring calls between the iOS device and the TV. New look and updates to messages In terms of messages, the operating system (iOS 17) provides some important additions, as all emoji symbols have been made available as stickers in the Messages application, in addition to allowing the use of emojis on top of pictures and messages such as a sticker. Live collages can also be created from photos using the “Remove Subject from Background” feature introduced in iOS 16. Users can also add effects to live stickers to give them more life. If you use live photos, you will be able to get an animated sticker that can be shared in the Messages app. Searching has become more precise with search filters, allowing users to start their search and add additional filters to narrow down results and find exactly what they are looking for, and one-time verification codes delivered by the Messages app can be automatically deleted. And if you're having trouble keeping up in group chats or with someone who's sending a lot of messages, there's a new arrow that lets you know where you left off so you can see what hasn't been read in the conversation. When you send a voice message, it's automatically transcribed so users can read it now or listen to it later. In terms of sharing location in messages, it has become even simpler. When a user shares a location, it is updated in real time in the conversation. Messages also offers “check-in,” an important security feature that allows the user to let a family member or friend know that they have arrived at their destination safely. When the feature is turned on, the person you're contacting
is alerted when you get where you're going, and if you don't do so in time or your progress stops, that contact can see your phone's location, battery level, and cellular status to determine if you need help. With any information shared end-to-end encrypted. Easier sharing with “AirDrop” and “NameDrop” New sharing methods have been added to AirDrop. The NameDrop feature allows users to share contact information by bringing iPhones closer together, or by bringing the iPhone and Apple Watch closer together ( Apple Watch). Bringing iPhones closer together also allows users to share and transfer content or start SharePlay to listen to music, watch a movie, or play a game. Later this year, AirDrop will allow large file transfers to begin with two phones in close proximity, with the transfer ending over iCloud. Improvements to autocorrect and dictation As for the auto-correction feature, it has been comprehensively updated to improve the experience and accuracy for users every time they write. The feature also received an updated design to better support writing, and it became possible to correct errors at the sentence level to avoid grammatical errors. iOS 17 users will receive built-in predictive text recommendations while writing, to better predict what the user wants to say, so Autofill provides complete sentences with built-in predictions when writing, so adding full words or completing sentences will become easy. Display information while charging the phone iOS 17 introduces the “Standby” feature, which gives users a full-screen experience with information that can be seen from a distance when the phone is placed on its side while charging. This feature is ideal when placing the phone on a table or desk, and can be customized to display a range of clock styles, favorite photos, or widgets. With support for Live Activities, Siri, incoming calls, and larger notifications, StandBy makes the iPhone useful even when it's out of its owner's reach. When charging using “MagSafe”, the feature remembers the user’s preferred viewing method, and it is easy to show “Stand-by” mode at any time by tapping on the screen, and it is available on the “iPhone 14 Pro” with the feature Always on screen. A new way to appreciate life's moments Although not yet available, Apple's new operating system offers a "Journal" app designed to record your daily thoughts and activities, something that has been proven to improve well-being. iPhone uses machine learning across the device to suggest topics for you to write about based on your recent activities during the day, including taking photos, visiting people and places, exercising, and more. Scheduled notifications help build a journaling habit. With the ability to lock the app, use cross-device processing, and end-to-end encryption, the company designed Journal to protect user privacy and ensure no one can access their data. Third-party apps can provide suggestions about journaling, but all content is passcode protected. Privacy and accessibility updates Privacy updates include expanding communication safety outside of Messages to help keep kids safe when sending and receiving content via AirDrop, Contact Stickers, FaceTime Message, and when using the image picker to choose what content to send. Privacy has also been expanded to also include video content in addition to still images. A new sensitive content warning feature helps adult users avoid viewing unwanted photos and videos. As with Communication Safety, all image and video processing for sensitive content warning occurs on-device, so Apple cannot access the content. While accessibility updates include the “Assistive Access” feature, which is a customizable interface that helps users with cognitive disabilities use “iPhone” with greater ease and independence, and the “Personal Voice” feature gives users at risk of speech loss the option to create a voice that resembles their own voice. The Point and
Talk feature helps blind or visually impaired users read text across physical objects by pointing. Additional features in (iOS 17) The Safari web browser provides greater protection for private browsing using the Face ID feature, and prevents trackers from identifying your device and tracking your browsing activity across websites. The browser's “Accounts” option separates your work browsing from your personal browsing with different histories, extensions, tab groups, favorites, and cookies. Private browsing is now locked when not in use, allowing the user to keep tabs open even when away from the device. Users can share passwords with a group of trusted contacts through the Family Sharing feature in the Passwords app. Anyone in the group can also add and edit passwords that are securely shared through the iCloud Keychain, as this feature is useful for passwords that need to be accessed by more than one person, such as streaming services. The “Health” application contains a mood tracking feature that allows you to record your daily feelings and momentary emotions to track your condition. The company also offers depression and anxiety assessments used in clinics to help you determine if you are at risk. Using the TrueDepth camera, the Health app helps you determine if you are too close to your screen through the screen distance measurement tool, while encouraging you to move the device away after it remains more than 12 inches from your face for an extended period of time, as increasing the distance helps Children reduce the risk of developing myopia and give adult users the opportunity to reduce digital eye strain. In the Maps app, you can now download offline maps of specific areas, so you can access turn-by-turn navigation, estimated time of arrival, and nearby locations even offline. The AirTag Tracker can now be shared with up to 5 other people, so friends and family members who live together can track an item using the tracker in the Find My app. Everyone in the group can also see the location of the item, play audio, and use precise search to help locate the co-tracker when it's nearby. “Apple Music” supports collaborative playlists for listening to music with friends, and thanks to the “SharePlay” feature in the car, passengers can add songs to what is playing through “CarryPlay” even without an “Apple Music” subscription. AirPods have new features that redefine the personal audio experience, including Adaptive Sound, which combines active noise cancellation with transparency so you can be more aware of your surroundings while reducing unwanted noise, while Conversation Awareness stops music from playing. When someone speaks to you so you can hear them, while the custom volume adjusts the sound according to your preferences. Additionally, improvements to automatic switching and call controls make switching between devices faster and more reliable, and you can mute and unmute audio by pressing the earphone stem. The Home app allows users to view up to 30 days of activity history across door locks, garage doors, alarm systems and contact sensors. Spotlight Search is also more interactive, so you can do things like change settings without opening an app. In the Reminders app, there's a built-in grocery list that groups items you add into categories, and users can change how items are grouped and the list remembers their preferences. In the Notes app, you can create links between notes so that related notes can be linked together, and the app also has better support for PDF files. Visual search is now available in paused video frames, where users can select food, storefronts, signs, icons, and upload individual topics from photos and videos. The Siri voice assistant can be activated by simply saying “Siri,” without having to say “Hey Siri.” Once activated, you can issue multiple commands in succession without having to reactivate the assistant. In the Photos app, the
People album uses cross-device machine learning to identify more photos of a user's favorite people, as well as cats and dogs. The Email app supports auto-filling of verification codes just like Messages. On Apple News, subscribers can access the daily crossword and listen to audio stories with the Apple News Plus subscription in the podcast app. Through the “Fitness” application, it is now possible to see the highlights of friends’ exercise activities and create custom schedules for exercise and meditation using the plans designated for the “Apple Fitness Plus” subscription. There is a black circle in the latest iPhone Pro models and some iPad Pro models. Do you know the mystery of this circle and what its function? This circuit is actually quite useful, as it allows the use of some of the device's most important apps and features, and can be found on the camera bump on the back of modern iPhones. Black circle location The circle rests flat on the square protrusion that contains the phone's lenses from the back. It is a lidar scanner that senses depth using laser beams to determine how far things are. It is designed to measure distances, as it emits pulsed laser beams that help the scanner measure... How long it takes for the reflection to return. Black circle advantages This allows the scanner to measure the distances of objects in its field of view, which enables the phone to create an accurate 3D image of what it can see. This is useful for a whole host of applications that can take advantage of this feature on the iPhone. For example, this is useful for augmented reality applications that allow you to place virtual objects in the “real world” using your camera. It works by targeting an object with a laser and measuring the time it takes for the light to return, enabling the device to “build” a 3D model of the world in front of it. Using this feature, a three-dimensional object can be better placed as the camera sees it from all measurements and angles. It can also allow the camera to work more effectively. In low-light conditions, the scanner can track how far away a subject is, allowing the camera's autofocus feature to work more quickly. “The lidar scanner measures the distance to objects up to 5 meters away, and works indoors and outdoors,” Applen says, according to a report by the British Daily Mail newspaper. “The lidar scanner improves the measurement app, making it faster and easier to automatically calculate someone’s height, while useful vertical and edge guides automatically appear to allow users to measure things more quickly and accurately,” the report adds, citing Apple. The report stated that Apple finds this feature useful in several applications “to make virtual content interact with the physical environment realistically, for example, by throwing a virtual ball at a wall in the real world and making the ball follow the laws of physics.” IKEA website The IKEA website, for example, uses augmented reality to place the company's furniture such as sofas, lamps, and bookcases inside your home to see how they fit into the real space, and uses a scanner to help the application estimate the distance accurately.

The British Economist magazine said that China launched to the public on August 31 a chatbot application based on artificial intelligence and called it “Ernie.” The magazine reported that the new Chinese application provides its users with information biased towards China in various fields, such as its claim that American e-cigarette smokers are the source of the Corona virus (Covid-19) when it first appeared in July 2019, before it spread later that year. To the Chinese city of Wuhan via American lobsters. In the political field, the Economist report says that Ernie remains somewhat silent, and gave an example of this when Ernie responded to questions such as, “Who is the president of China?” He also seemed confused before telling the questioner the name of the mother of Chinese leader Xi Jinping. When asked about the flaws of socialism, he fails to mention, and often tries to redirect sensitive conversations by saying, “Let’s talk about something else.” The British magazine says - in its report - that Ernie's reticence to answer such questions will not constitute any shock to the program's Chinese users, as they are aware of the strict censorship imposed on the Internet service. Baidu is a technology giant The Ernie app is the brainchild of Chinese tech giant Baidu, which has been outpaced by companies competing with it for years. But, thanks to artificial intelligence, the company is now setting its sights on getting back to the forefront again. As for the extent to which it can reach, this would reveal many of the prospects for Chinese technology, which is suffering under the pressure of American export controls and the “increasing tyranny” of President Xi, according to the newspaper. A decade ago, Baidu, which runs the largest search engine in China, formed a trio with Alibaba and Tencent. Baidu faced little competition as foreign search engines were banned or severely censored. Capturing 90% of search traffic According to the report, Baidu has never lost its dominance in the technology sector, as it still accounts for more than 90% of Internet search traffic in China. However, the transformations that occurred in the technological landscape negatively affected the company, and Internet users in China can now access the Internet through high-quality applications such as WeChat, a subsidiary of Tencent. In a remarkable statistic, the newspaper reported that Baidu’s introduction of artificial intelligence applications aroused interest in the company, to the point that its Ernie program was downloaded one million times within 19 hours of its release, compared to the most famous generative artificial intelligence program, “GBT Chat,” which reached that number (1 million). ) within 5 days. Quantum leap The newspaper quoted Robin Li, CEO and co-founder of Baidu, as saying - last month - that the introduction of artificial intelligence represents a “paradigm shift” for the company, a shift that did not happen overnight. Years of investment have turned Baidu into one of China's most advanced AI companies, with a ecosystem that includes chip design, a deep learning framework, and proprietary models and applications. Baidu has also strengthened its position as the largest cloud AI provider in China, and has begun providing solutions for companies that want to design AI models specifically for them.

A fast website can help you attract more visitors and encourage them to explore more of your offerings. (Check the speed of your website right now ) Occasionally, however, after the initial website optimization, new user experience metrics such as Interaction To Next Paint become available. Other times, when you're not paying attention, server load is the culprit for your site's slow performance. Therefore, what can you do to accelerate your website and maintain its performance over time? The simple solution is to install page speed monitoring on your website. Why Is Page Speed Crucial for SEO? The relationship between page speed and the user experience is a ranking signal. Once a user has decided to visit your website, it is essential that it loads quickly and provides a positive experience. If users can quickly locate the information they require, they are more likely to explore the remainder of your website and complete the checkout process. Therefore, optimising your website's speed has numerous advantages, including: Increase your Google ranking and organic traffic. Improve the user experience and boost conversions. Reduce expenses for yourself and your guests. For instance, 70% of consumers say they are less likely to make an online purchase or return to a slow website. Google has published a number of case studies demonstrating that good Core Web Vitals also result in increased sales. How Page Speed Improves Your Position Within Google Search Results Google collects page speed information from actual Chrome users and employs it as a ranking signal. The Core Web Vitals (CWV) consist of three performance metrics. Read More : How to Improve Core Web Vitals in WordPress? Core Web Essentials consist of: LCP stands for Largest Contentful Paint. CLS stands for Cumulative Layout Shift. Interaction to Next Paint (INP) will replace the First Input Delay (FID) in 2024. If at least 75% of website visitors have a Google-rated "good" experience across all three metrics, you will receive the maximum ranking benefit. How Do You Check Core Web Vitals? The CWV report in Google Search Console indicates if your website's page experience needs to be optimised. What is the meaning of each Core Web Vital? Each CWV focuses on different aspects of your website's speed. Your website's objective is to achieve "Good" status for each metric. LCP stands for Largest Contentful Paint. The LCP metric measures your website's load time. Specifically, it examines how soon after landing on a page the largest content element, such as a hero image or content heading, appears. The Largest Contentful Paint score must be less than 2.5 seconds. Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) CLS evaluates the layout stability of a page after content has begun to appear. When a layout shift occurs, some page elements move after their initial appearance. This results in a poor user experience, as the user must reorient themselves to continue reading or may click the incorrect button by accident. The score for Cumulative Layout Shift should be less than 0.1. It is determined by examining the size of the shifted content and the distance it has shifted by. First Input Delay (FID) & Next Paint Interaction (INP). These two metrics measure the responsiveness of your website to user input. When a user clicks a button on your page, it may take a second or more for the page content to update in response to the user's input, resulting in a sluggish and unresponsive experience. In March 2024, Interaction to Next Paint will replace First Input Delay as the Core Web Vitals metric. Aim for FID scores of less than 100 milliseconds and INP scores of less than 200 milliseconds. How A Quick Website Reduces Expenses Optimising web performance may also reduce your website's hosting costs, as less CPU processing is required and less data must be downloaded, resulting in lower bandwidth fees. Many website visitors
have bandwidth limits on their mobile data plans, and if they exceed the limit, they may incur additional fees.

In a recent WordPress network install, I was stuck with phpMyAdmin access but no WordPress Super Admin access. Here is a post how to add a user as a Super Admin using WordPress functions or phpMyAdmin. For those who don't know, in a network install, the WordPress Super Admin has access to the network admin page, which is helpful for managing blogs, plugins, and themes. If you're not familiar with multisite/networks, they allow you to manage multiple WordPress blogs on a single server / database. Some people refer to this as WordPress Multisite. Here are more details on how to set up a WordPress network. The network admin, phpMyAdmin, and even adding a script to your functions.php file are the three methods I've included for adding a Super Admin to WordPress. Using the Network Admin to Add a Super Admin If you’re already logged in as a super admin you should be able to simply activate users as super admins in the users pane. The setting should say “Grant this user super admin privileges for the Network.” and be below the user’s username. Using phpMyAdmin to add a Super Admin There is only one field you’ll need to edit to add a Super Admin, and that is “admins” in the “wp_sitemeta” table. You’ll see some serialized data in the value of the field such as “a:1:i:1;s:5:”admin”;”. When you’re dealing with serialized data it can get a bit odd, but adding an admin with the user name “Andy” would be done as follows. "a:2:i:1;s:5:"admin";i:2;s:4:"Andy";" So as you can see the first number a:2 matches how many entries you have so for 3 admins you’d put 3. I simple just copied and pasted the first bit “i:1;s:5:”admin”” and added a semicolon to indicate another entry. Then increased the i by one and s matches how many characters are in the username, in my case 4. If you enter any of the variables wrong you’ll know by checking to see if your new user is an admin. Using your Theme’s Functions.php to add Super Admins To add an admin by user ID you can use grant_super_admin. Simply put the grant_super_admin function in your theme’s functions.php file (usually in /wp-content/themes/CURRENT THEME NAME/functions.php). You’ll need to put the ID of the user as a variable, the example below we’re using the user ID of 1. grant_super_admin(1); After doing this check to confirm that user has Super Admin privileges and remove it from functions.php so it doesn’t constantly run with each page load. And just like that you’ve added a new super admin to your WordPress network! Because ZFS (Zettabyte File System) employs a copy-on-write (CoW) mechanism, new data is added to free blocks as opposed to being overwritten by previously stored information. As a result, functions like snapshots and data integrity checks are possible, but space management may differ from that of conventional file systems. While it's a good idea to leave some empty space on a ZFS pool in order to maintain data integrity and optimal performance, the percentage can change depending on a number of variables. The amount of free space you should keep in a ZFS pool depends on a number of variables, including the workload, the configuration of your system, and the particular use case. Web Yildiz as a web agency we recommended giving ZFS pool 20% free space on top. Although there isn't a universal solution, the following general principles should be taken into account: Optimal Performance: It is advised to keep a certain amount of free space in your ZFS pool in order to ensure good performance. By doing this, performance degradation as the pool fills up is reduced. As a general guideline, leave 20 to 30 percent of the pool's capacity unoccupied. This makes it possible for better performance and less fragmentation. Overprovisioning: Overprovisioning is the act of allocating more storage than you actually require. This can be especially crucial in ZFS to support expansion and account for changes in data usage over time. Additionally, overprovisioning can lengthen the life of your storage devices and prevent performance slowdowns. Workload and Data Usage: How much free space you require depends on the type of data you're storing and how you use it. You might require more free space if you frequently create and delete snapshots or if your data tends to change frequently in order to handle these operations effectively. Snapshot Retention: The amount of space that ZFS snapshots take up over time and how long they are kept can both change. If you intend to store a large number of snapshots for a long time, you should consider how that might affect the amount of space that is available. Maintenance Tasks: To guarantee data integrity and pool health, ZFS carries out maintenance tasks like scrubbing and resilvering. For these activities to be effective, there needs to be some open space. Avoiding Near Full Situations: Generally speaking, you should try to keep your ZFS pool from getting too full. Write operations may become slower as the pool fills, and fragmentation and other performance problems become more likely. Monitoring and Modification: Keep track of how much space is being used by your ZFS pool on a regular basis and modify the available space as necessary. It might be a good idea to think about expanding the available space if you notice that the pool consistently uses a large portion of its capacity. Keep in mind that these are only general recommendations and that your environment may have different requirements. When deciding how much free space to keep in your ZFS pool, it's important to take your organization's data growth patterns, financial limitations, and available storage hardware into account. If possible, seek advice specifically tailored to your use case from ZFS documentation, community resources, or storage and ZFS experts.

We can use attributes to change a tag's type, disable a button, assign a style to the tag, and more. In JavaScript, changing an element's attributes is simple. A specific component is needed first. While some DOM queries return an array of elements, the JavaScript functions we're using only work with a single element. In order to get a single value out of an array of elements, you must either use queries that return a single element or use an index. When you only have one HTML element to work with, you can change its attributes by using the following functions, you can follow these steps: Add the necessary HTML markup with elements having the desired class name: htmlCopy code Add Attribute to Elements Element 1 Element 2 Element 3 Create a JavaScript file (e.g., your-script.js) and write the script to add the attribute to elements with the specified class name when the page loads: javascriptCopy code // Wait for the page to finish loading document.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', function () // Get elements with the specified class name var elements = document.getElementsByClassName('my-element');// Loop through the elements and add the desired attribute for (var i = 0; i < elements.length; i++) elements[i].setAttribute('data-custom-attribute', 'value'); // Change 'data-custom-attribute' and 'value' to your actual attribute name and value ); In this example, we're waiting for the DOM content to be fully loaded using the DOMContentLoaded event. Then, we're using document.getElementsByClassName('my-element') to get all elements with the class name "my-element". We iterate through these elements and use setAttribute to add a custom attribute with a specified value to each element. To match your specific use case, make sure to modify the class name, attribute name, and attribute value. Finally, make sure the JavaScript file (your-script.js) is linked in your HTML file using the tag as shown in the HTML markup above.

In this guide, you will learn how to use Ventoy, a programme that makes it incredibly easy to create a multi bootable USB flash drive of Windows 11 (and 10) without the need to reformat the removable storage. Typically, you use the Media Creation Tool to create a bootable USB media when you need to perform a clean install of Windows 11 (or 10). As an alternative, you can complete the same task with more customization options by using the Rufus tool. The issue is that you have to repeatedly reformat the drive to update the installation files or switch the operating system, even though these tools perform as promised. A flash drive can be made bootable by installing Ventoy as software. Once the flash drive is able to boot, all you have to do is upload the desired ISO (or WIM, IMG, VHDX, or EFI) files without extracting them first. The system will boot into the Ventoy software when you insert the USB flash drive. You can select the image with which you want the computer to start while you are experiencing this. You can keep both versions of the image on the same bootable flash drive if a new version of the ISO becomes available. The instructions in this manual will show you how to use Ventoy to make a bootable USB that you can use to install Windows 10, Windows 11, Linux, or another operating system from the same flash drive. Create multiboot USB flash drive with Ventoy To create a Windows 11 bootable USB with Ventoy, connect a flash drive with enough space, and use these steps: Open Ventoy GitHub page. Under the “Assets” section, click the ventoy-x.x.xx-windows.zip file and download it to your computer. Quick note: You may need to force and keep the file as the browser may detect it as malicious. Open the Zip folder location. Double-click the open the ventoy-x.x.xx-windows.zip file. Click the Extract all button from the command bar. Click the Browse button. Select a location to extract the files. Click the Select Folder button. Click the Extract button. Open the ventoy-x.x.xx folder. Double-click the Ventoy2Disk.exe file to launch the installer. Choose the USB flash drive from the “Device” setting. Click the Install button. Click the OK button. Click on This PC from the left pane of File Explorer. Open the Ventoy drive. Copy and paste the ISO files to make them bootable. You can include the latest image of Windows 11, 10, Linux, etc. Once you complete the steps, you can use the USB flash drive to boot a device with the Ventoy software, where you can then choose to start the device with one of the ISOs you uploaded to the drive.

It is expected that the technology giant Apple will unveil the new generation of iPhone phones next September. Although it has not been officially announced, the information leaked so far provides perceptions about iPhone 15 in the future. Expectations of iPhone 15 Some expectations indicate that the company may follow a similar pattern to last year's lineup, especially as Apple approaches the launch of the 15th series of the iPhone. Price of iPhone 15 It is expected that the price of the phone, the cheapest of the new models, will reach $1099, as it is said that this year’s series consists of 4 models, while it is expected that Apple will maintain its designs for this year; Some leaks suggest that it will come thinner than its predecessors. Frame of iPhone 15 It will also use a frame made of matte titanium instead of “stainless steel” to protect the structure while reducing the weight of the device, in addition to two new colors for the structure, which are blue and red. It is expected that the iPhone 15 will give up the upper notch in favor of a larger coverage of the screen in which it uses what is called “composite formation with low injection pressure”, which is supposed to reduce the size of the borders and appendages. It also dispensed with the previously known mute button; With a general button that can be customized according to the user's desire to perform various functions. In compliance with a previous agreement between Apple and the European Union concluded two years ago; The company will switch to relying on a USB-C charger instead of the usual Apple Lightning charger. Camera of iPhone 15 As for the cameras, while the iPhone will inherit from its predecessor a 48-megapixel rear camera, the “Pro Max” model will come with a Bielsco telephoto lens that supports optical zoom up to 6 times, and we may find larger lenses that double the value of this model. Processor of iPhone 15 What distinguishes the two high-end phones in the series is their reliance on the latest Apple processor, which is expected to include the first chip manufactured according to the architecture used in a smartphone, and it is the largest leap in performance and efficiency for Apple chips since 2020, because it allows to perform more tasks simultaneously at a faster rate and card. 35% less.

Tools based on artificial intelligence (AI) are sweeping the globe. Every day brings new products to the market, and AI web design tools and services are no exception. Although they are incredibly diverse, they all have the same objective: to increase the accessibility of web design to as many people as possible. Even if you're a seasoned web designer, keeping an eye on these tools and services can be advantageous. Your work may be easier if you are aware of the most popular AI web design options, how to use them, and any potential drawbacks. We'll discuss four different types of AI web design tools in this article and how they function. We'll talk about their advantages, disadvantages, and available options. Let's start now! [tie_index]AI-based website builder[/tie_index] [padding top="0" bottom="0" right="5%" left="5%"] 1. Use an AI-based website builder You can use a variety of website building tools for almost any project. Both standalone options and WordPress plugins like Elementor can compete with website builder platforms like Wix or Squarespace. Site and page templates are among the features that most contemporary website builders share. You can use these templates as a starting point if you're new to website creation (or are pressed for time). If you sufficiently customise them, you can quickly have a website that looks professional online. AI website builders aim to simplify that process even further. One great example is Elementor AI. Improve your Web Creation with Elementor AI Generate Images: Use Elementor AI’s text-to-image generator to add unique images and fine-tune them to get the look you want. Write Copy and Code: Craft original text, modify or translate it right within the editor. Plus, let AI generate custom code - all at the touch of a prompt. Natively Integrated: Accelerate your productivity and instantly generate spot-on content & code without having to switch between different tools. Best AI website builder to use Wix ADI 10web (for WordPress websites) Framer AI (for generating websites using prompts) [tie_index]Design Prototypes[/tie_index] [padding top="0" bottom="0" right="5%" left="5%"] 2. Employ AI to produce design prototypes You can use AI for prototyping if you want to use it to design a website but don't want it to create the entire thing. Making mockups or demos of how a website or app might appear in its final form is referred to as "prototyping" in the field of design. This is a clever strategy because it lets you test concepts without having to spend hours making actual designs. However, prototyping does necessitate some prior knowledge of web design. If you don't, you might produce designs that defy best practises or are impossible to replicate on a real website. As an alternative, you can make quick mockups with the aid of AI prototyping tools. You can generate them from text prompts using some tools, like Uizard. Uizard can also be used to create mockups from website screenshots or sketches: Utilising the Uizard tool to create a prototype mockup using AI web design. The majority of design elements can be recognised by the AI, which can then translate them into actual web interfaces. These interfaces can be modified using Uizard to create prototypes that look exactly how you want them to. Customise a web design produced by AI A quick way to determine whether your design concepts will work or not in a web format is to watch them come to life. If you collaborate with others, you can share Uizard prototypes to solicit feedback and improve mockups. This kind of AI web design tool's main objective is to save you time. You can use those web design prototypes as references when building the website if you already have ones that everyone likes and approves of. This strategy is far more intelligent than designing websites without a clear vision of the final product. Best tools to use for AI prototyping Uizard
Visily (uses screenshots and drawings) [tie_index]Use AI to design a logo[/tie_index] [padding top="0" bottom="0" right="5%" left="5%"] 3. Use AI to design a logo The use of AI to design logos is debatable. Most businesses rely heavily on their logos to represent their brand, so you want to create something that leaves a good first impression. AI can produce incredible-looking logos, but it's challenging to get this kind of tool to produce something that accurately reflects a brand. When it comes to producing a tonne of interesting options for you to consider, AI logo generators really shine. You can create original designs based on simple information by using tools like Hostinger Logo Maker. This includes the name of your company, your tagline, and the sector in which you operate: AI-generated logos are welcome Hundreds of different logo variations could be available to you, depending on the logo maker tool you use. One or more of them might be a good fit for your brand depending on your needs. If not, you can draw inspiration from some of these concepts when working with a logo designer. This method can help you develop a clearer vision of the logo you want for your website. Instead of going into the process without clear expectations, having a solid idea in mind will save you a tonne of time and money when working with a designer. Best AI logo generators to use Hostinger’s Logo Maker Designs.ai Logomaker (each logo design comes with a branding kit as well) [tie_index]Use AI to generate graphics[/tie_index] [padding top="0" bottom="0" right="5%" left="5%"] 4. Use AI to generate graphics The vast majority of contemporary websites make extensive use of graphics and images. We're willing to bet that if you visit any of your favourite websites, you can find dozens of pictures in no more than a few minutes of browsing. Finding sources for all of those images can be difficult. Many websites use manually taken screenshots, stock photos, or other images. It becomes very significant when you factor in the time it takes to source dozens or hundreds of graphics. Additionally, it can be difficult to locate an image that you can legally use on occasion. You can benefit from graphics produced by AI in these situations. You can use a variety of AI image generators, including DALLE, Midjourney, Leonardo, and Fotor. These tools can be used to generate "generic" images to fill your website if the proper prompts are used. For instance, if you run an online store selling sporting goods, you can ask DALLE to create images that you can use all over your website: Graphics like this one of a woman trying on a Nike shoe were created using AI web design tools. It's important to remember that the majority of AI image generators have drawbacks. The people in the pictures occasionally don't look quite "right." Additionally, you might need to experiment with prompts a lot before you find one that works for you. You would be better off finding images somewhere else if you have very specific requirements. If you have access to plugins, you can also use ChatGPT to create various types of images in addition to well-known programmes like DALLE and Midjourney. Some plugins let you make diagrams that can be used to represent information on the web: An illustration of a diagram produced by AI. Using AI-generated images on your website is currently legal (though they cannot be copyrighted). That might alter in the future, though.

By revising its privacy policies, Google now has carte blanche to mine the internet for data it can use to fortify its artificial intelligence products. New products, features, and technologies According to Google's new policy, "Google uses information to improve our services and to develop new products, features, and technologies that benefit our users and the public." "We use public data to train Google's AI models and create features and products like Google Translate, Bard, and Cloud AI capabilities," for instance. Gizmodo reports that the policy has been modified to refer to "AI models" rather than "for language models." When it comes to data collection, the policy now includes not just Google Translate but also Bard and Cloud AI. The amended privacy policy, released over the weekend, looks particularly worrisome because it suggests that Google can use whatever data you generate online to train its artificial intelligence systems. The aforementioned language appears to describe not only people in the Google ecosystem, but is specific enough that the brand might have access to information from any portion of the web. Concerns over data privacy, plagiarism, and the ability of AI to disseminate accurate information are at the forefront of the debates surrounding the widespread development of AI. The earliest chatbots, like ChatGPT, are built on LLMs that trained on publicly available data from sources like the common crawl web archive, WebText2, Books1, Books2, and Wikipedia. The first ChatGPT was notorious for getting stuck on data past the year 2021 and filling in responses with bogus material. Having real-world and perhaps real-time training for its AI models could be one of the reasons Google would want unrestricted access to web data to benefit technologies like Bard. Gizmodo also pointed out that Google might utilise this new strategy to collect ancient content that was created by humans but has since been forgotten, such as reviews or blog articles. This would allow Google to get insight into the evolution and dissemination of human text and speech. How Google will put its data to use is still a mystery. Several big social media sites, such as Twitter and Reddit, have restricted user access in response to the rise of AI chatbots, much to the dismay of their respective user bases. Under the pretence of IP protection, both services have disabled user access to their APIs, making it impossible to bulk download and redistribute large numbers of postings. Instead, it disrupted many of the auxiliary programmes that are essential to the proper functioning of both Twitter and Reddit. As their owners become increasingly worried about being replaced by artificial intelligence, Twitter and Reddit have also faced various challenges and conflicts. Meta tags are part of HTML tags that describe the content of your pages to search engines and website visitors. Meta tags only appear in the page code, anyone can view them from the source code (Ctrl+U). We provide an overview of meta tags that are still very important and those that are no longer. Metatags can be used to increase a website's visibility in search engines, so they are definitely important for SEO. Why use Metatags? As Holland web said, Meta tags play an important role in SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Especially the use of title tags and meta descriptions is very important. These tags are displayed by search engines as a small text entry in search results. Make sure the meta tags on your site are unique for each page and try to make them as attractive as possible. Both the relevant title tags and description tags must convince visitors to click on the link in the search results. Most Important Meta Tags: This tag is displayed by search engines as a small text element in search results. Make sure meta tags on your site are unique to each individual page and make them as attractive as possible. Relevant title tags and description tags both have to convince visitors to click on the link in the search results. Title Tag: The title tag is important because it serves as the clickable headline in search engine results. It should precisely and concisely describe the page's content. htmlCopy code Your Page Title Meta Description Tag: The meta description tag provides a concise summary of the content of your website. It appears beneath the page title in search engine results and can influence click-through rates. htmlCopy code Meta Robots Tag: The meta robots tag instructs search engine crawlers on how to handle your web page. "index" allows the page to be indexed, while "follow" permits search engines to follow links on the page. Other common values include "noindex" and "nofollow." htmlCopy code Canonical Tag: The canonical tag specifies the preferred URL for duplicate or similar content. It helps search engines understand which version of a page should be indexed and avoids potential duplicate content issues. htmlCopy code Open Graph Tags (for social sharing): Open Graph tags provide information for social media platforms with information when a website is shared. They manage the title, description, and image that appear when your page is shared on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. htmlCopy code Viewport Tag (for responsive design): The viewport tag ensures that your web page is displayed correctly on various devices and screen sizes. It is essential for creating a responsive and mobile-friendly design. htmlCopy code   Interesting HTML Meta Tags: there are some interesting and lesser-known HTML meta tags that can serve specific purposes or provide additional functionality. Here are a few examples: Meta Refresh Tag: The meta refresh tag redirects the web page to another URL after a specified time delay (in seconds). It can be used for automatic page redirection or to implement timed refreshes. htmlCopy code Meta Viewport Tag (for iOS devices): htmlCopy code This meta tag is specifically for iOS devices and allows you to control the viewport behavior. It sets the width to the device width, prevents zooming, and disables user scaling. Meta HTTP-Equiv Tag (Character Encoding): htmlCopy code The meta http-equiv tag with "Content-Type" can specify the character encoding for the web page. In this example, it sets the character encoding to UTF-8, which supports a wide range of international characters. Meta Theme Color (for mobile browsers): htmlCopy code The theme color meta tag allows you to define the browser's theme color on mobile devices. It affects the browser's UI elements such as the address bar or task switcher. Specify the color using a hexadecimal va
lue. Meta X-UA-Compatible Tag: htmlCopy code The X-UA-Compatible meta tag is specific to Internet Explorer and allows you to control the version of IE rendering engine used to display the web page. In this example, "IE=edge" ensures the latest version of IE is used. Expired HTML Meta Tags: HTML metatags are crucial to web development because they provide metadata information about a web page. While there is no concept of "expiration" for HTML meta tags, as new standards and practices emerge, certain meta tags have become deprecated or obsolete over time. Staying current with the most recent recommendations and best practices is essential for ensuring the optimal performance and compatibility of your web pages. Meta Keywords: The meta keywords tag was once used to specify relevant keywords for search engines to index the page. However, due to abuse and keyword stuffing, most search engines no longer consider this tag. It is generally not recommended to use the meta keywords tag anymore. Example: htmlCopy code Meta Refresh: The meta refresh tag was used to automatically redirect a web page after a specified time interval. It is considered a poor practice for several reasons, such as disrupting the user experience and impacting search engine optimization (SEO). Instead, server-side redirects or JavaScript-based redirection are preferred. Example: htmlCopy code Meta Revisit-after: The meta revisit-after tag was used to specify when search engine crawlers should revisit a page. However, major search engines have stated that they do not consider this tag anymore for indexing and ranking purposes. It is no longer necessary to include this meta tag. Example: htmlCopy code Meta Distribution/Robots: The meta distribution or meta robots tag was used to control how search engine bots index and display the content of a web page. While these tags can still be used, it is more common to control these settings through the robots.txt file or using the "robots" meta tag. Example: htmlCopy code   It's worth noting that while meta tags provide information to search engines, their impact on search engine rankings has diminished over time. Search engines now prioritize factors such as high-quality content, user experience, and backlinks from reputable sources.
