There was no reason to kill her, yet. Zhou Tai truthfully did not like to show aggression towards new faces but he did show intimidation just to see how they would react in a stressful situation. Crossing his arms, he listened to the spider woman as if she was just a normal human being. Just like herself, not many people wanted to talk to such a scary looking man. That was something both of them certainly had in common with one another.

Raising his right arm, he bent his elbow to where his thumb was pointing behind him over his shoulder. Now that he knew the reason she was here, he didn’t see her a much of a threat anymore. “There is a river down this path…follow it…get some fish…eat that..” At least he could be generous enough to let her get some food.

     Oh? He was actually being helpful. While she did not entirely trust him as he was human, she did note hearing a river far off earlier. And she really was hungry. She supposed he had no reason to lie at the moment, either, unless he simply wanted to get rid of her.

     “All right -- won’t you come with me? I haven’t the slightest clue how to make a fire, and I’d rather eat them cooked, much more flavourful. Assuming you aren’t actually a cosplayer. You can keep some too if you help. Maybe I’ll even let you keep the net I make. My silk is stronger than whatever your sword is made of.”

So the appearance he noticed was true once the creature came to the ground level, revealing her true form from the dim moonlight. Where did she originate from and why was she here? Zhou Tai never let his guard down and kept his intimidating nature. Hopefully no violence would erupt.

“You’re in no position to ask questions…why are you trespassing on our land..? What is your purpose…?”

     How noble and brave he was. She could not blame him for being so defensive - it was probably his first time seeing an arachne. “ You can’t kill me, if that’s what you’re thinking right now. ” And it was true, to an extent. Not all of her was made of a thick, hard exoskeleton, after all. “ I’m not here to cause trouble for your people, I’m wandering. I’m surprised you stayed to chat, though. Not everyone can stomach such a disturbing appearance, hm? ”

     “ But in truth, I’m a long way from home, ” Rachnera shrugged her shoulders. Her home was somewhere - but she was in no rush to return to it. Perhaps she would never see it again. It was possible, but yet did not trouble her too much. “ Am I close to yours? I’m getting hungry - for beef or something. Don’t worry, I don’t eat people. Meat’s too fatty for me. ”

This certainly was a sight, of course this wasn’t the first time the silent captain has ran into strange creatures. It never bothered him unless they posed a threat. But what was she? It was as if a spider had bred with a human causing such a monstrosity.

Glancing up into the darkness that engulfed several trees,, he kept his sharp stare focused on the creature. “I will admit…you certainly are the ugliest being I’ve encountered…but you’re nothing but a bug…that can talk…go back and hide under the rock you came from..”

     --Oh. There went her intimidating approach. Was the man dead inside or something? The last time she ran into a human here, he wet himself and fainted. Poor sod. Rachnera hummed and lowered herself to the ground. She crossed her arms and cocked her head to one side, all eyes remaining fixated on him ( though it may be difficult to tell ).      “ I don’t live under rocks, ” she replied. “ Is that a real sword you have there? ”

     “ Well well, what have we here? ” The arachne purred, an unseen grin spreading from ear to ear from within the shadows. Ruby eyes gleamed as she inspected such an intriguing man in all of his fancy armour. She had to admit, she had never seen a human as tall as him before. She actually could feel short for once. He did not look like he needed to be scolded for being alone at night; after all, he was armed as well. “ Are you not concerned of monsters that lurk in the dark? ”

     But, for the people who stay -- hello again! I hope you’re all doing well. My internet is poop otherwise I would have added a bio page, but to summarize: Rachnera is a spider/human hybrid from a harem series as well as the Mom Friend, but I will probably be playing her in a more serious light as her character is quite dark and sad tbh. Although her canon setting is modern day, I’ll also be making some verses for stuff such as Inuyasha~~ yaaaaay.
