History Of Web Design
1988–2001
Although web design has a fairly recent history, it can be linked to other areas such as graphic design, user experience, and multimedia arts, but is more aptly seen from a technological standpoint. It has become a large part of people’s everyday lives. It is hard to imagine the Internet without animated graphics, different styles of typography, background, videos and music. The web was announced on August 6, 1991; in November 1992, CERN was the first website to go live on the World Wide Web. During this period, websites were structured by using the <table> tag which created numbers on the website. Eventually, web designers were able to find their way around it to create more structures and format. In early history, the structure of the websites was fragile and hard to contain, so it became very difficult to use them. In November 1993, ALIWEB was the first ever search engine to be created (Archie Like Indexing for the WEB).

what is web designing
Web design encompasses many different skills and disciplines in the production and maintenance of websites. The different areas of web design include web graphic design; user interface design (UI design); authoring, including standardised code and proprietary software; user experience design (UX design); and search engine optimization. Often many individuals will work in teams covering different aspects of the design process, although some designers will cover them all. The term “web design” is normally used to describe the design process relating to the front-end (client side) design of a website including writing markup. Web design partially overlaps web engineering in the broader scope of web development. Web designers are expected to have an awareness of usability and be up to date with web accessibility guidelines.

what is web development
Web development involves creating websites and web applications that are accessible via the internet. It encompasses various aspects, including:
Front-end Development: Concerned with what users interact with directly in their web browsers. It involves HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create the layout, design, and interactivity of a website.
Back-end Development: Involves server-side programming, databases, and handling server requests. Popular languages include Python, PHP, Ruby, and frameworks like Node.js.
Full-Stack Development: Combines both front-end and back-end development skills, allowing developers to work on all aspects of a web application.
Frameworks and Libraries: Provide pre-written, reusable code to expedite development, such as React, Angular, Vue.js (front-end), Django, Flask (back-end), etc.
Database Management: Includes storing, retrieving, and managing data using databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
Version Control: Using tools like Git to manage changes to code, enabling collaboration and tracking of modifications.
Responsive Design: Ensuring websites work well on various devices and screen sizes, using techniques like flexible grids and layouts, images, and CSS media queries.
Security Best Practices: Implementing measures to protect websites from vulnerabilities such as cross-site scripting (XSS), SQL injection, and ensuring data privacy.
Deployment and Hosting: Uploading a website to a server, configuring it to run efficiently, and ensuring it remains accessible to users.
Continuous Learning: Given the rapid evolution of web technologies, staying updated with trends, new frameworks, and best practices is crucial.
Web development is dynamic and requires a blend of technical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities to create effective and user-friendly web experiences.

Key Elements of Graphic Design
Typography: The selection and arrangement of typefaces play a crucial role in conveying tone and readability in design.
Color Theory: Understanding the psychology of color helps designers evoke emotions and create harmonious compositions.
Layout and Composition: The organization of visual elements on a page or screen guides the viewer’s eye and enhances communication.
