okay but real talk, I finally watched The 100 and I reached 5x01 and it’s… basically any au planet I have written for Jemma, I’m so mad at it? (let alone how they did the whole artificial intelligence and ‘perfect world’ plot sooo much better) but -heroine living alone in a wasteland that has a big-ass desert on the side but also still a forest on another -heroine surviving both because of her brain and because she has to basically turn ruthless to survive -heroine eating gross stuff and having to be reckless because hey she has no other choice, there will be no saving her in time from this -heroine going slowly ‘crazy’ or at least believing she is, considering ending things -heroine talking to her loved ones and potential boyfriend through a device that likely won’t ever be heard, to keep herself sane -heroine getting horribly hurt in many ways (-heroine potentially finding someone to take care of, like a child, in there, in some of my aus) -heroine even freaking says the words 'kill or get killed’ -heroine gets kinda phylosophical about her past life being over
(bonus skipping back to previous seasons: heroine seen after she was gone from home jumping on an animal and basically ripping it apart)
with the difference that Jemma wasn’t on Earth, tried to keep believing that she’d be saved but it would have been just painful to keep that thought up, and that she didn’t have Clarke’s… preparation for it, let’s call it that way, so she’s horribly traumatized and has a harder time adjusting back to society Another difference is that Jemma kinda lost it there, but Clarke found some sort of oasis while Jemma just kept losing and losing, plus was ‘alone’. But she was there less than six years (but she also had time move faster, in a way) I should make a whole damn blog just to have my au planet, no canon ship and do the hell I want with season 5 too
update because I’m still watching: heroine hurt her leg, stitched herself up  if she also ends up having hallucinations AND cauterizing a wound in this episode (and they both happened to Clarke in other episodes) it’s like the writers read my planet au for Jemma
