"It's okay," Laura shrugged, leaning into Clint's embrace. The kids would not be up for another hour at most.

"I'm up, do you want some help?"

Clint flipped the oven on so it could pre heat. They kept thanksgiving small this year but he was still up at the crack of dawn to dry and cook his family an amazing meal. Laura had always been the one to do it in the previous years and Clint wanted... needed to make up for lost time.

He smiled, putting and arm around his wife to pull her close and kiss the top of her head. "Happy Holidays." He replied. "Did I wake you? I was trying to be quiet."

Steve laughed, and began to kiss her neck like he knew she liked. A part of him wanted to skip training and do a completely different work out.

"There are ways other than a shower to deal with that issue." Steve said with a wicked smirk.

“Promises, promises.” He said with a wicked smirk, she knew how to rile him up. But then again, two could play at that game, since coming to the future, he’d gotten bolder than he ever dared to be in his own time.

“Who’s to say you won’t be the one on your back, hm?”

She kissed him against after his comment, knowing that she could keep him where she wanted him but preferred it when he was in control.  “If you think you can get me on my back, Captain Rogers, then I’ll stay right there for you.” 

Kara smiled. “you keep this up and I’m gonna need a shower before training instead of after.”

Steve chuckled and pulled away from the kiss, as much as he loved kissing Kara he needed his mouth to speak.

"That sounds amazing, let's do it," He said scooping Kara up into his arms so he could carry her up to their room and lock the door behind them.

"I'll call down for room service, you make yourself comfortable."

Laughing, Steve rested his chin on top of her head.

“We could wait until tonight,” he said stroking her arm gently as he stared out at the waves.

“Or. We could go up to our room now, if you’d prefer to get a head start?”

Kara turned her head so that she could kiss Steve.  She loved kissing him, loved the way he touched her.  She loved everything about him.

Their lips parted, “I’m not opposed to to getting room service and spending all night in bed with no clothing on.  And then showering and then being naked again.  We can just forget what clothing is till in the morning.  Well after the food is delivered.” She chuckled, “don’t think anyone else wants to see me in my birthday suit.”

"I missed you so much," Steve said taking Peggy into his arms. He was going to do it, he was going to kiss her.

Leaning in, he brushed his lips against hers, this kiss was sweeter than their last, not as hurried and urgent. He smiled at the thought.

"Shall we dance then?"

“I’ll explain as much as I can, I promise.” Steve said as they came into the sitting room. It was a cozy place, so different from the places he’d lived the last several years, the future seemed colder some how.

“But I’m not going to disappear, Peg, I promise. I’m here for good.”

And she wanted that explanation, Peggy allowed, stopping to face him once more as she realized that she just didn’t want it yet. “Later?” she requested quietly, stepping up to him as reality gripped her fully. Steve was here.

She reached out, cupping his cheek in her hand just to reassure herself she could. “I know I said your choice, but… I’ve missed you.”

“Because if the answer is right now, I think we’ll get arrested for indecency. But yes, I’d love to start a family with you.”

Kara playfully smacked him on the shoulder.  “Well look who’s mind is in the gutter today, Captain Rogers.” She had a much brighter smile now that she’d asked him and his answer had been what she needed to hear.

“I want to get married and have babies running around in a yard where you grill on the weekends and we have our friends over.  I need something normal to balance the bad.  So I mean, tonight might be a better time to start.” Kara leaned back into him and wrapped his arm around her.  “Besides, isn’t that the stuff vacations are for?”

“That’s what I like to hear,” Steve said as he stopped tickling Kara and stole a kiss. He wasn’t cruel, if she asked for mercy he’d give it to her.

“I much prefer your smile to that pout.”

Kara wrapped her legs around his waist so that he could hold her close to him.  Her smile bright and as her arms wrapped around his neck, she pressed a firm kiss on his lips.

“You know when we go train here in an hour, there’s no mercy for you.  I’m gonna keep you on your back with me over you.  I think it sounds like fun.”

Now Steve really wanted to kiss her, if he had been too late he didn’t know what he was going to do. He had no more Pym particles, and his only plan was to be with her.

“I’m glad to hear that, and I’m sorry that I’m late.”

“Never mind it now,” Peggy replied fondly, taking his hand and leading him deeper into her house, back the way she’d come from the sitting room.

“You are either going to dance with me now before you disappear again or give me a proper explanation as to how you’re here. Your choice.”

“I understand,” Steve said continuing to kiss her neck, she had risked so much to try and save them all, so he held her tighter, just thankful that she was still there with him.

“I love you, is it selfish that I’m grateful that you’re still here with me?”

“No, I think we both deserve this time to ourselves.  We brought them all back and destroyed Thanos.” She leaned into his kisses before turning her head so that she could passionately kiss his lips.

When their lips parted, her breath hitched.  “Steve, would you want to start a family with me?”
