After seeing these nominees for the Video Game Awards this year I've come to the conclusion that i am apparently very out of the loop nowadays. Lordy lordy one thing that really grinds my gears lately is seeing all these pseudo Film buffs/"Reviewers" online talk about how "this (Movie/Book/Album/TV Show/W.e) didnt age well" like why are we expecting it to? No Way! this thing made 20, 30, 40~ years ago does something kinda cringey and/or doesnt stand up to modern/right now critiques and types of scrutiny? Yeah no shit its probably older than the person reviewing it obviously its gonna be viewed and seen differently.
