Digging this bright neon colour blend print, 'Palm Shadow' by Tamar Payne. Offered as part of the @artistsupportpledge this is part of a new body of work titled 'Luxe 'Landscapes' based on the landscapes and culture of contemporary Europe. Tamar Payne made the image after taking photographs of an amazingly clear palm tree shadow against a white building in Mallorca last year. Originally a black and white photo, she used half-tone for texture and a neon colour blend to express the heat and colours of an August day in the Mediterranean. Evelyne Adell #Valentine, 1966⠀ The title of this early work by pop artist Evelyne Adell refers to the Russian cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova, the first woman in space. The work depicts a slender female body with a zip running down the front to reveal naked skin beneath.
