Blog Marketing For Beginners - It All Starts With The Right Approach
Blogs are all about readership. Unfortunately, many people approach everything a little backwards, with excitement and quick reversal of that excitement when things don't go as expected. We all have heard it: Just make that first post and get started. But you get drawn in trying to perfect the site design, blast social media with posts and thinking of ways to get that blog monetized. If only everything happened overnight.
Tumblr media
Social media is going to help you for sure. But I learned a long time ago that when it comes to readership and site visitors, search engines are your friend. When it comes to site design, it can be corrected as you learn more and more. And when it come to monetizing your blog, that can happen once you establish readership. What should be your current focus? It should be providing content like crazy to that blog of yours. Click to read more regarding content marketing at online.
Consistency is key, however, which means you need to post according to a schedule of how you plan to post in the future. How do I do it? Well, I try to post once a week. It would be great if I posted on a strict and complete schedule, say once every Saturday at 8 am, but boy do I have a lot on my plate. Don't we all?
Tumblr media
If you have a lot on your plate, that's okay. The idea is to keep posting to that blog. Share your knowledge, and do post links to social media. I have many ways to monetize my blog, but I focus primarily on providing quality content. As your content becomes networked with the search engines, you will get visitors. It takes time, as does building a library of site content. Focus on this one step right now, and don't borrow trouble. Keep building, and the rest will be added over time.

Blog Marketing Tips for New Writers
Blogging is fun, but it can get demoralizing pretty quickly if you run a blog and no-one is interested in reading it. Most people expect to see some return from their blog, whether that is getting readers to comment, or getting advertisers to give them some financial return.
If you have a new blog and you are struggling to grow it, then these simple tips could help you. Blog marketing tips are available in : https://wayfx.com
Get the Technical Things Right
Most people run their blog on WordPress, and that's a pretty good choice. Out of the box, WordPress has some decent SEO features - but it's far from perfect. You can greatly improve the search-engine-friendliness of your blog by installing some plugins such as the All in One SEO pack.
Tumblr media
Make sure you have a favicon that reflects your brand. Make sure that you set meta-tags for each page and post. Install a sitemap plugin, and then point Google to that sitemap through your Webmaster Tools account. If you don't have accounts on Google Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics, set them up as soon as possible.
Post Consistently
For your blog to get a steady stream of traffic, you will need to post consistently. Get into the habit of posting on the same day each week if you post weekly. Aim to post more often if you can. This will help to ensure that you get people coming back to check for new content on a regular basis. The search engines love sites that get updates too.

Build Links
Blogs shouldn't be 'islands'. If you are simply shouting out to the world and not engaging in conversation then there is no reason for anyone to communicate with you. Try to build up a relationship with some bloggers that are active in your niche. Do guest blogging. Start a blog carnival where bloggers all write about the same topic and link to each other. There are lots of things that you can do to increase your profile.

Get Active on Social Media
Social media is something that many people still ignore, and that is unfortunate because it has a lot of power. At a minimum, you should have a presence on Twitter and Facebook. Depending on your niche you should also look at Pinterest and Instagram. Some people benefit from being on LinkedIn, and there are other niche networks too. Post, engage, and read to succeed.
