After landing in Marrakech,  my friend Simon and I rented a car to go to Merzouga desert. We crossed the Atlas, went through the cities of Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, Skoura, Tinghir and Arfoud. We finally arrived at the desert gate, where we slept in a traditional kasbah. It was an incredible experience. The people we met were all extremely welcoming. The landscapes of this country are simply breathtaking. If you are planning to go to Morocco, avoid the tourist attractions and bustle of the city. Rent a car and move away, you will not regret.
