Strange choice, sure, but it may just be a matter of the only day the organiser(s) could get for the venue that worked for one reason or another. It’s just how organising gigs go sometimes. Definitely frustrating when it’s like that.

Are you going to Melbourne Deathfest?

I would if it wasn't on a Sunday. Definitely an interesting lineup for 2025, I'm just not keen for a Sunday gig. Hell, I remember how a vocalist for a band here in Melbourne was saying Sunday's are typically the worst for trying to get people in for a gig and I can guarantee is has to do with people needing to go in to work the next day including myself.
