Turn off the water inlet; leave the faucet ON. Place a towel under your water inlet valve to catch any dripping water.   2. Disconnect the faucet hose from the water inlet valve, attach the 1/2" FIP to 3/8" compression adapter. Make sure the O ring is in position; apply Teflon tape at a clockwise direction 7 times only if needed.   3. Connect the under sink water filter's water inlet hose onto the adapter.   4. Attach the 3/8" compression to 1/2" FIP adapter onto the filter system's outlet hose, then connect the faucet's hose. Make sure the O ring is in position; apply Teflon tape at a clockwise direction 7 times only if needed.   5. Make sure the faucet is turned on and then turn the water inlet valve back on to flush the new system for 5 minutes to condition the new filter.   6. Turn off the faucet to pressurize the new connected system and check for any possible leakage.   Tips: It is completely normal for water to spurt out due to the trapped air inside the undersink water filter system.   Finally, you can enjoy a litany of benefits, thanks to your newly installed ICEPURE WFS5300A under sink water filter. Nugget ice is by far the most popular type of ice, and many people consider them the best ice because it comes in small nuggets, is soft, and is easy to chew. For ice lovers, it's great to have quick and easy access to a constant supply of nugget ice.
What is Nugget Ice?
Nugget ice is made up of layers of flaked ice that have been frozen together. This process creates air pockets in the pellet ice nuggets. These air pockets are also what make nugget ice cubes chewy and soft.
4 Reasons to Use Nugget Ice
Not easy to melt. Nugget ice doesn’t melt as quickly as other types of ice. The nugget ice melts slowly to keep the drink cold. If you really like cocktails, then slow-melting nugget ice is more suitable for your needs. And this ice melts more evenly than traditional ice.
Chewable. Nugget ice soft, chewable, cold, and refreshing. People can have a drink and ice combo poured into their mouths. Some people even drive out of their way to get to a fast-food restaurant or convenience store that has it.
Quick to cool. It cools drinks faster than any other ice. Whether you're using nugget ice to drink cold drinks, cool down an injury, cool food, or anything else, it quickly cools anything it touches.
Retains the flavor of the drink. Nugget ice air pockets absorb liquids so it’s can help beverages retain flavor.
How to get nugget ice at home?

The Importance of Using a Pre-Filter
The water filtration system, as important equipment to ensure drinking water safety in family life, has become indispensable equipment in the home. Pre-filters are often used in conjunction with existing water filtration systems to extend their life and protect plumbing systems from damage and blockages. What is a pre-filter? Pre-filters, also known as sediment filters, are often used as the first line of defense for water purification. The pre-filter is generally placed not far behind the water meter and the main valve, before the whole house water filtration system. What are the benefits of installing a pre-filter? Protect primary filter Pre-filters can capture large particle contaminants such as dirt, silt, and rust, and prevent them from entering the whole-house filter to extend whole house filter life. If these large particle contaminants are not removed, they can become trapped in the water filtration system and clog it. Reduce odor and color Rust and silt particles can change the color and taste of the water, making for a poor drinking experience. A pre-filter reduces the presence of these harmful particles in the water, thus improving the taste of the water. Protect the color of your clothes If you suddenly notice that your clean clothes are turning yellow, possibly because of iron or other deposits in the water that have left marks on your clothes. The pre-filter removes these deposits and prevents discoloration of clothing. Protective appliances Large particles of sediment in the water can cause appliances to clog and corrode. Pre-filters effectively prevent these problems from happening, thereby protecting appliances such as water heaters, washing machines, and dishwashers. Pre-filters increase their life and reduce maintenance costs. Pureplus whole house spin-down sediment filter is designed to trap impurities before water entering to a finer whole house water filtration system. Rated at 40 microns, spin down whole house water filters effectively protect your entire plumbing system from particulates, silts, sediment, rust, suspended solids and other pollutants in water. Provides all-round protection This whole house spin down filter effectively protects terminal equipment and appliances such as downstream pipelines, water purifiers, water heaters, wall-hung boilers, washing machines and shower heads. Safe material Bpa-free material. The 40 micron precision mesh membrane is made of food grade 304 stainless steel. Flushable & reusable Turn on the drain valve and rotate the scrubbing knob, and impurities will be flushed away from the drain port. Regular cleaning can be done easily without frequent disassembly of the water pipe connections and filter housing. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.Hope this article could help you.

Does Your Refrigerator Filtered Water Taste Bad?
Refrigerator filtered water generally has the advantages of cleanness and good taste. However, sometimes the refrigerator filtered water tastes terrible.   The smell of refrigerator filtered water may change gradually, getting worse until the smell is noticeable. Of course, refrigerator filtered water may also taste bad to begin with, because, if your refrigerator has never been used, the pipes may have accumulated some dust and debris during the manufacturing process, and drinking this water will affect your health. These conditions can occur in any brand of refrigerator that has a model that includes a dispenser.   Here are some tips on how to improve the taste of your refrigerator filtered water.   a. Check the refrigerator filter.   If your refrigerator filtered water smells a little foul, it could be caused by a plumbing, mold, or bacterial problem, and it's almost a sure bet that you need a refrigerator filter replacement. Most refrigerator manufacturers recommend changing the filter every six months, ideally. This is the recommended lifespan for most refrigerator water filters. After six months, the filter may have stopped working. A properly functioning refrigerator filter can reduce many harmful substances in water, including 99% of chlorine, taste, odor, THM, VOCs, particles, and all other major impurities. It significantly improves the taste of drinking water, providing pure tasting refrigerator filtered water while retaining beneficial minerals for the human body.   In addition, if the filter has been blocked by sediment, it will affect the function of the refrigerator water filter. Not all water is filtered, which is also the source of the odor.   If changing your refrigerator water filter twice a year feels like a burden, you don't have to. The service life of the filter is also related to the local water quality, which means that the frequency of changing it twice a year is not necessary. The filter material of the filter is activated carbon, and you don't have to buy a filter from the refrigerator manufacturer, and non-branded ones are fine.   b. Is the refrigerator filter not used for a long time?   It should be noted that if the refrigerator filter has not been used for a long time, the refrigerator filtered water in the refrigerator will have a special smell when it is restored to use. Don't worry, because the water filtered by the refrigerator filter has not been used for a long time, so the water has deteriorated. Let the freshwater run for a while, and the taste will disappear.   c. Check your water source.   You can check whether the water from all the taps in your home has a smell, and the taste is very strange. If it is not just a problem with the refrigerator filtered water, then it is most likely not the problem with the refrigerator filter, but your water source is particularly poor. It may be the problem of the water supply system itself, or it may come from the aging of the water pipes at home, so even if the local water quality report meets the standard, it does not mean that the tap water at home is necessarily safe. There are many convenient and easy-to-use TDS meters on the market, which can detect Total Dissolved Solids (Total Dissolved Solids, TDS) in water. TDS is one of the signs of water quality. Using a TDS meter can roughly measure the value of your faucet. The quality of the water coming out.   After knowing the water quality of your own home, how do you choose a refrigerator water filter that suits your own home? The following is a little advice on the purchase of refrigerator filters.

How often should I replace the Pleatco PAP150 pool filter?
Assuming that you search “How often should I replace the Pleatco PAP150 pool filter ” on the web, then the approximate time to replace the pool filter is three to five years. At this point, you may be wondering if this time is adequate to ensure the clarity of the water in the pool? Great, so let's read on for clarity on this issue. Now, think back immediately to the last time you cleaned the Pleatco PAP150 pool filter. Last week? Last month? Or even totally off the top of your head. If you can't remember, trust me, it's time to do more cleaning. Properly used pool filters not only increase the life of your swimming pool, but they filter out bacteria, viruses, and other harmful substances. In the water, pool filters are the guardians that protect your health. These accessories capture small particles, bugs, debris and other contaminants, removing them from the water. They also help prevent the growth of algae and bacteria. Definitely, even the most valiant soldiers would get tired at times, and frankly, the more diligent you are in cleaning your Pleatco PAP150 pool filter, the better. Pool filter cleaning may not be the easiest of tasks, on the other hand, it is worth the effort. We recommend replacing them once a quarter. How do pool filters work? Different pool filters use different materials, but the principle is the same - to trap the dirt completely. They play a huge role in removing small insects, food particles, hair, microorganisms, germs and other contaminants. At all times, they ensure that the pool water is clean and prevents pollution. Is Pool Water Filter Cleaning Requisite? As you can guess, while the pool filter cartridge is working, it is being worn. If not properly maintained, it will accelerate wear and tear and reduce its lifespan, and possibly harm the pool pump. Over time, filters that are not cleaned can become clogged and lose their effectiveness. This will directly lead to cloudy water, bacterial growth and poor water quality. That's why cleaning is critical. Regular cleaning can prevent expensive repairs and infectious diseases. Pleatco PAP150 Pool Filter Replaces on ICEPURE website These filters are tested and certified by IAPMO against NSF/ANSI 50 for safe material. 7 Common Questions About LG Refrigerator Water Filter
Refrigerator water filters have become commonplace in many US households, and LG is one of the most common refrigerator water filter brands. This article summarizes 7 Common Questions about LG refrigerator water filters and hopes it will help you.
Why do we need to replace refrigerator water filters? If you don't replace the LG refrigerator water filter, the water fountain will be slow to produce water and not make enough ice. Refrigerator water filter will start letting contaminants flow through. Even the refrigerator water filter will become a petri dish for bacteria. Your water will no longer be safe for drinking.
When do I need to replace my LG refrigerator water filter? To guarantee that the water is always pure and fresh, you must frequently replace your refrigerator's water filter with a new one. The replacement interval is typically six months. Of course, relying solely on this signal is inadequate. Additionally, if any of the above indications appear, you should replace them immediately. • Slowing Down of Water Intake • Ice is not Crystal Clear Anymore • Sediment and Strange Taste in the Water • More Than Six Months
How to install LG refrigerator water filter? LG LT500P Installation Instructions 1. Remove the old filter cartridge by grasping and turning to the left about 1/4 turn. 2. Insert the new filter into the filter receptor. Turn the cartridge 1/4 turn to the right to lock it into place. LG LT700P Installation Instructions 1. Lower the filter housing cover to expose the filter. Pull the old filter downward until it releases from the filter receptor, then pull it out. 2. The new filter's two top notches in the horizontal position align with the filter receptor and push it into the receptor until it stops. 3. Lift the filter upwards until it stops and locks in place. Raise and close the filter cover. LG LT800P Installation Instructions Upper Left/Right Corner Filter Housing Installation Instruction 1. Lower the filter housing cover to expose the filter. Pull the old filter downward, twist the filter 1/4 counterclockwise until it releases from the filter receptor, then pull it out. 2. With the new filter's two top notches in the horizontal position, align with the filter receptor, push it Into the receptor, and twist 1/4 clockwise until it stops. Raise and close the filter cover. And then pull it out. 2. With the new filler's two top notches In the horizontal position, align with the filter receptor, push it into the receptor, and twist 1/4 clockwise until it stops. Pull the filter inwards.Reinstall the storage bin.
Why does the filtered water have black particles? Due to poor transportation, carbon particles may escape from the block. Sometimes they seep through the first few times you let the water out. So before drinking, run water from the dispenser (about 3 gallons or 5 minutes) to clear the system, prevent sputtering, and condition the new filter.
How to reset the LG refrigerator water filter light? On models with a replacement indicator light, press and hold the RESET WATER FILTER PAD above the dispenser for 3 seconds.
Do LG refrigerator water filters have expiration dates? No, unused water filters do not expire. There is no set shelf life for water filters, as long as they have not been installed, and are kept in a cool, dry place.
Are there any reputable third party manufacturers of filters? ICEPURE refrigerator water filters compatible with LG are made with Premium materials, Efficient Filtration, Authoritative Certifications and advanced technologies but at an affordable price. The filters use advanced and precise measurement technology, combined with 3D multi-dimensional design technology to ensure that our products fully match the original products and do not leak water. Saving you money while giving you quality filtration.
Conclusion Many harmful contaminants exist in our drinking water, exposing us to unnecessary health risks. But with the help of the LG refrigerator water filter, these risks are reduced to a minimum. For the health of me and our family, we should replace the LG refrigerator water filter in time.

Tank VS. Tankless RO System, Differences Between of Them
Today, we'll talk about the differences between tank RO and tankless RO systems to give you some references when you're ready to buy a reverse osmosis purifier.   Whether you are new to water purification products or have been using them for a while, it is not difficult to find that there are two types of home RO system machines on the market. One type is with a water tank, and the other is without a water tank (traditional RO machine). As the name suggests, the traditional RO system machine will first store the filtered water in an enclosed water tank. Tankless water purifiers have been upgraded with an advanced filtration mechanism that enables water to be taken immediately, without waiting.   First of all, Let's Understand What an RO System is. RO stands for "Reverse Osmosis," whose core part is the RO membrane. In performing filtration work, water molecules move from a highly concentrated solution into a less robust solution to obtain pure water by applying pressure to the RO membrane. RO membranes are relatively expensive to replace later, and therefore, multiple stages of filtration are usually designed to protect the RO membrane.   Next, How Does the RO System Work? After installing the RO system machine filtration system, tap water is passed through the pump after the initial filtration of PP cotton and activated carbon. After the water pump pressurizes, the water passes through the RO membrane. It will produce two types of water one is pure water, and the other is wastewater. The purified water is stored in a tank, and the wastewater is discharged. When the water tank becomes full, it will stop working to produce water, and on the other hand, when the water tank becomes low, it will automatically continue to grow water.   Similarities Between Tank and Tankless RO System Efficient removal of contaminants. Most systems remove various pollutants such as lead, calcium, iron, and radium, including bacteria not visible to the naked eye. Reverse osmosis systems can also remove sediment, and by the way, it is also very effective at eliminating colorless and odorless viruses from water, with up to 98% removal rate.   Differences Between Tank and Tankless RO System Tankless RO system machines are more space-saving and easy to install. The tankless RO systems not only save a large part of space but also are easy to install and well to operate, which will bring great comfort to your life in the future, so why not?    Tankless RO machines have a higher flow rate while reducing the percentage of wastewater. Tankless RO systems have no water storage tank so that water can be discharged immediately. Significantly higher flow rates, such as the ICEPURE UTR400, have a 600 GPD high flow rate and 1.5:1 low drain ratio. Fill a cup of water in 7.6 seconds. This UTR400 saves the maximum amount of time and water.    The Tankless RO machine eliminates secondary contamination from the source. There are no subsequent cleaning problems without using a water tank for water storage.   But it's worth saying that a tank RO system machine is more cost-effective. If you do not have enough budget and do not care about the device occupying space, you could choose a tank RO machine.   Summary Some high-quality tankless RO systems are stable in operation, have excellent performance in continuous water production, occupy less space, and lower cartridge replacement costs. If you are still wavering in the purchase, you may want to consider the installation environment of the family first and consider the maintenance costs before making plans.    Assuming you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

Is it Important to Buy Swimming Pool Filters?
Totally important, if you don't want to catch a disease.   Swimming is a highly recommended aerobic exercise that is actually useful to maintain good health. Compared to running, jumping rope and other sports which can affect your knees, swimming has a great advantage. The reason why more and more people love to swim right now, and the people who build small pools at home have become a lot. Even though swimming can bring a number of benefits to our body, a little carelessness can also be a health hazard, such as health problems of pool water quality.   To ensure that the water that comes into contact with the pool meets the standards, installing pool water filters is essential. An excellent pool filter can be said to be a professional pool "scavenger".   What are the sources of pollution in swimming pools , and who are they?   The pollution of swimming pools can be divided into two categories: one is organic pollution, the other one is inorganic pollution. Inorganic pollution is the main reason for the water to change color, such as excess iron will make the water yellow, manganese element content exceeds the standard will make the water inky color, etc.. In the case of chemical conditions in line with the standard, the water is cloudy, irritating smell and a series of other phenomena, can be attributed to is the result of the content of organic matter in the pool exceeds the standard.   How do these organic pollutants come about? Natural. Such as dust, leaves, rain and insects. These are pollutant particles that are relatively large in size and the vast majority are easily sieved out by the filter system instead.   Artificially added. In order to maintain the clarity and hygiene of the swimming pool water, we usually add chemicals such as disinfectants, algae, acid-based balancers, etc. These chemicals will react with other substances present in water and generate new pollutants. Furthermore, the body of the pool itself will also be stripped of some shifts due to rust and corrosion, which in turn will become pollutants.   Swimmers brought in. This is the most important source of pollution in the pool. And can be divided into human shedding (such as human hair, dander, skin care products, cosmetics and swimsuits on the impurities), human discharges (such as human perspiration, saliva, snot, tears) and human carry (such as earrings and rings).   Which hazards that pollutants can cause?   Disruption of health. Eye infections, ear infections, and digestive infections are all highly prevalent. If the pool is not well maintained and cleaned, the bacteria will build up over time until it decays. When you are already feeling ill, check with your doctor quickly.   Accelerated algae growth.
