everything you wear looks so much better when you're skinny.

You’re a seemingly normal, average 10-year-old child except for one thing: time travelers have been trying to assassinate you for years, and you’re not sure why.

@ all people wo say "even when you are skinny, you won't be happy, there will be other problems and you always find something on your body that makes you unhappy"
false.
I lost ~7kg already and I get so happy and excited about wearing my jeans that did not fit me a few months ago, my belly which is less sticking out, the thinking of outfits I can wear in the future (and even now), finally seeing a fun thing like a concert/going to the beach and not being sad because I would worry about my body so much.
I'm already in a better mood even tho it is the beginning of my weight loss
I was SO damn unhappy every single second of the day just because I disliked my fat body.
being sk1nny doesn't solve all my problems (I know that!!) but surely 99 of 100 :,)

eating a normal diet is not starving yourself and having special privileges because of your size (like a free extra plane seat) is not "basic human decency" or "respect"
diets don't fail; people fail at dieting
you absolutely can't call yourself progressive if you're fatphobic btw
fatphobia is deeply rooted in racism, ableism, and classism and if you can't even examine your beliefs far enough to get too "fat people are also humans who deserve respect" then you absolutely aren't progressive, you're a bigot trying to act trendy.
NO ONE should be expected to completely change their whole body in order to be treated with basic respect! especially when the expected methods of change (that do not work, esp long term) are starvation and/or surgery with insanely high complication and morality rates... if you have to ask people to starve, mutilate, or even kill themselves to consider respecting them and their rights, then you are an atrociously cruel person.

I want to intentionally lose weight to be healthy, and to look good too.

sorry but until fat activists stop saying stupid shit like “excess calories don’t cause you to gain weight” i’m gonna be ‘fatphobic.’ i guarantee you if somehow everyone was put on a 3,000 calorie diet, everyone would be overweight to obese, and 5,000 calorie diet would most certainly mean morbid obesity for everyone. and if we put everyone on a 1,000 calorie diet, we’d have a lot of dangerously thin people.
