The Magnus Archives is like the SCP Foundation if they didn't Secure. Or Contain. Or Protect for that matter. So really they're like if you went to the SCP Foundation begging for help with the monster that had been tormenting you and some tired British academic just sort of nodded and said "Fucked If True." I’m so tired of the way both the podcast and the fandom has pushed the Entities into strict categories and aesthetics, when it’s canonically not so simple. The Vast isn’t about the sky, it’s about the fear of insignificance against something much larger. The Desolation isn’t fear of fire, it’s fear of destruction. 

What I am trying to get at is that I want to see more TMA ocs/avatars that don’t fit into these tip-of-the-iceberg aesthetics. Give me mold Corruption, ocean Vast, ocean Buried, tornado Desolation, addiction Web, etc. etc.

Martin Blackwood is an (partially) asshole.

These are the reasons he is an asshole:

He emotionally manipulates people around him to do what he believes is best for them and what they keep telling him actively that they don't want

He self- isolates to the point where it not only harms himself, but also drastically harms others

He believes only in what he thinks is right and refuses to take the advice of people around him, unless it feeds his own self- centered narritave

These are the reasons he believes he's an asshole:

He actually wants people to love and pay attention to him (this is obviously wrong and bad and completely inhuman)

People reject his help (he is obviously useless and can't do anything for anyone)

He actually feels sad when people hurt him (he's just too sensitive that's absolutely not normal)
