I’ve been susceptible to some sickness the past couple of months. I’m back at it today. I visited my Dad’s gravesite this morning. I shared the sunrise with him. It’s been a year. Some tears were shed. Resolutions were set. There was not the snow that we had last year, but his memory and love remain. #afatherslove (at Dubois, Idaho)

There are a few things on my mind this morning. I need to work my work core... #weak #fornow I sometimes worry about a putting out to the IG world a spirit of arrogance. This was difficult to post as there is a more than fair amount of “jiggle” while punching my belly. 😕 Next, I feel a sense of gratitude that I no longer need to use those crutches in the background. It’s been several months and things continue to improve. I feel blessed and fortunate for that. Lastly... man, I get crazy sweaty after a 30-minute workout. 😁💪🏼 (at Blackfoot, Idaho)

Still pushing... This week back on it has been a challenge with #insanitymax30 Basketball season is starting so I’m getting back into shape of running up and down the court chasing “young ‘uns” faster and more athletic than I. My quads and hammies have started to cramp up on me a bit. It’s mostly been in the evening as I get ready for bed. Sooooo... it’s been a week of ibuprofen and going to work smelling of bengay. Ok... yoga is work. I confess that it is a practice of letting go of my ego. I'm by no means a huge power lifter but I like to lift weights and do workouts that are "high-impact intense" like jumping, burpees, etc. I am running more although I don't consider myself a runner. At best, I'm a jogger. 😏 That being said, yoga tests me and makes me sweat. I am not flexible and if I am to at least battle Father Time a little, my core and flexibility need much more of my attention. Here's to day 4 of said attention.
