A dumpster of drawings for the characters in my Warrior Cats fanfiction in the works; I'll probably flesh this blog out more, if I stick with this story!

Sorry for the lack of updates... I've been on the lookout for a better paying job so I can have enough to eat and pay off my school loans. I do have plenty of drawings made up, but no time to write the bios...
Would any of ya'll just prefer me to upload the doodles and add the bios later? My uploading schedule is chaotic at best and I feel a little bad about that!

Burstflame
Warrior of CloudClan.
Burstflame has absolutely no self-censor, is easily excitable and likely meows the loudest of anyone in the clan (they’ve checked). They actively enjoy being the center of attention and have a flair for being overdramatic when exaggerating the events in their stories. They are loved deeply by kits and apprentices alike and Burstflame is always more than willing to participate in their youthful games.
They came to CloudClan as an abandoned young, yet weened, kit, discovered by a patrol just inside the fences that surround the Bisonplace. Burstflame smelled sour, like a thunderpath under the blazing sun; CloudClan assumed that they had been abandoned by twolegs on the raging thunderpath that is west of the Bisonplace and they had wandered across the entire field just before collapsing a few fox-lengths away from the fence posts. It took them only two days to bounce back to their regular self, and they quickly showed CloudClan how much of a handful they could be.

Gustcloud
Warrior of CloudClan. Sister of Rumblestorm Grayfur.
Gustcloud is certainly one of the more awkward members of CloudClan. She tends to be shy and withdrawn, even with those she knows and is comfortable with. When communicating with her clanmembers, she often leads with rehearsed talking points and gets lost throughout the conversations. Her responses often times contain forced emotions as she doesn’t always understand how to feel in some situations. Some cats describe her as a ‘fake’ while others are very caring and understand her social limitations.
Overall, Gustcloud desires to fit in and takes an active interest in clan-life. She desires to train an apprentice when she is ready but is consistently afraid that her anxiety and awkwardness will impede on the young cat’s training. She has already declined to receive one when she and Rumblestorm were both offered but hopes to be ready one day.
While she desires to have a relationship with her Rebuked brother again, she mournfully keeps a distance from him. She does this to better fit in and avoid the social isolation and stigma that comes with having any sort of relationship with a Rebuked cat. Without Grayfur, however, she has become even more closed off to her clanmates and lives with the regret that she rejected him to begin with.

Brightsky
Warrior of CloudClan. Sister of Thunderblaze and Muggypaw. Aunt of Lightningpaw, Windpaw, and Flashpaw.
Brightsky is similar to her brother, Thunderblaze, in many ways: she has a knack for light-hearted joking, easy-going mannerisms, and a positive outlook on life. She does, however, have the reputation to be more of a stickler for rules than he ever was and was always the most responsible of their sibling trio.
The loss of Muggypaw to a FieldClan patrol caused Brightsky to distrust and dislike non-CloudClan cats more than the average member. Brightsky saught revenge for her sister during the battle that ensued after her death and, as an apprentice, brought the warrior down on her own and claimed victory as the rest of CloudClan drove FieldClan to defeat. She was promoted to a warrior later that night and was given ‘sky’ as a suffix for her valor -- uncommon due to the importance that the sky holds in CloudClan culture.

Here’s a map of the two clan’s territories! Read more about the locations under the cut. :3c
CLOUDCLAN TERRITORY
Camp: A sandy hollow on a cliff, carved by the stream meander nearby. Lots of plants other than grass grow here and provide decent cover for dens. Most dens are sheltered beneath sumac bushes, except for the nursery and elder’s den, which reside beneath two shrub-like cedars that provide more cover for the clan’s most vulnerable. When the stream swells with water due to severe storms, it is rare that it breaches camp due to the height of the cliff.
Tallfield: A stretch of land covered in grasses at least two to three cats-high. While this area is a prime location for hunting, many dangers lurk in the sea of grass during the warm season of Highsun. Rattlesnakes, coyotes and swift foxes can manage to sneak up on cats due to a lack of visibility and can spell disaster. Rattlesnakes likely pose the most danger, as canines can easily become just as spooked by the movement of foreign bodies and steer clear. Snakes stand their ground and one fateful step could be a cat’s last.
Bisonplace: A large area fenced off by naked trunks of wood and lines of hard, spiked webbing. This boundary does nothing to keep cats out of the area, but it does serve to keep the gigantic, shaggy behemoths in. Bison are not dangerous to cats and have never sought to actively kill one; they have been known to even allow a brave cat to climb atop them without a reaction. They spook easily, however, and during a stampede will not stop for cats in their paths. Despite this, CloudClan cats enjoy observing these creatures (from afar) and a playful insult/term of endearment is “bisonbrain”.
Demon Rapids: ‘Demon Rapids’ is likely a misnomer for this location; here, the stream has cut through the sandstone structures and created sharp spires that the water rushes across. The current is manageable and non-dangerous on days with no rain. However, the area becomes tumultuous when it storms and the rushing water can be heard from camp.
FIELDCLAN TERRITORY
Camp: A ‘valley’ of sorts between a series of hills. Sparse evergreen shrubs grow here that the clan use as dens. An old farm-pond is the clan’s main source of water.
Shortfield: The ground here is hard and rocky for some odd reason; thus, the grass that grows is short and stubby. There are very few trees and bushes in this area, and ones that do exist are scrubby and scraggly. Prairie dog dens can be seen easily, making this area the main hunting ground for FieldClan. Apprentices are taught special techniques to hunt prairie dogs, as one escaped piece of prey can cause everyone else’s hunt to become fruitless.
Wildflower Fields: A field where colorful flowers grow aplenty in Growingsun and Highsun. Medicine is abundant as well; purple coneflowers, aster, chicory, bee balm, and self-heal are only a few of the medicinal herbs that grow here and medicine itself makes up a small percentage of the foliage in the area. FieldClan apprentices are taken here once a week for a lesson in ‘herb identification’ so they can easily gather herbs for the medicine den when the medicine cats are too busy.
Sandbar: A sandy beach-like area that crosses the border stream. It is not surprising that this territory used to be CloudClan’s, as the stream used to be a natural boundry between the clans. However, FieldClan has been on the offensive and had recently claimed the Sandbar as their own. The justification for this is to have territory closer to the Clans’ sacred monument, the Stormwatch.
Snakehills and Twisted Trees: Landmarks that FieldClan has deemed important. The snakehills are extremely dangerous, obviously named for the snakes that reside beneath the rocky crags and outcroppings. The twisted trees are dead and gnarled trees that rarely shelter birds; apprentices often climb them for fun
SHARED TERRITORY
Stormwatch: The Clans’ sacred monument that serves as the communication point between the mortal realm and StarClan. It remains in the heart of CloudClan territory and, despite the treaty between the two clans to allow peaceful travel of small groups to and from the Stormwatch, is a major point of conflict. Many in FieldClan believe that they do not have a fair shot of visiting the Stormwatch and that CloudClan acts as a sort of ‘gatekeeper to StarClan’.
Forest Valley: This is the closest thing that the Clans could consider a “forest”; this ‘valley’ is a small grove of thin trees surrounding a boulder and where the Clans meet for the Full-Moon gathering.
Spinerocks/Stream: These areas serve as the border between the two Clans (with the exception of the Sandbar). The Spinerocks are steep sandstone columns, carved by wind and water. Not many cats dare to explore the treacherous territory, full of cracks and crevices that can swallow a cat whole.
NON-CLAN TERRITORY
Twoleg Farm: The full farm is not shown on the map, as fields of corn, wheat and soybeans extend far to the west. The farmhouse shown can be home to kittypets and stray cats that wander in, looking for an easy meal of mice or kittypet kibble. Clan cats stay clear of this area.
Twoleg Ruins: A run-down and dilapidated twoleg nest with no residents to speak of. FieldClan still steers clear of this area because it is not uncommon to see twoleg kits running amok during the day; however, patches of catmint are highly prevalent in this area and both clans will brave the twolegs to retrieve the precious herb.

Thunderblaze
Warrior of CloudClan. Brother of Brightsky and Muggypaw. Father of Windpaw, Lightningpaw, and Flashpaw.
Jovial and light-hearted, Thunderblaze is known for his extroverted and exuberant positivity. He’s an optimist at heart, and sticks by this philosophy even in his darkest days; he dealt with the deaths of his sister, Muggypaw, and mate, Havenstone, in this manner and swears that he is stronger because of it. He’s a fairly laid back guy who doesn’t let much bother him.
Having lost his mate, Havenstone, during his children's’ second moon of life, Thunderblaze took it upon himself to be a stand-in queen and stayed in the nursery to take care of them until their apprenticeship. In this time, Surgestrike had also resigned to the queen’s den in anticipation of his own kits -- for the first time that the clan could recall, the nursery was solely occupied by toms, much to the amusement of their clanmates. Surgestrike and Thunderblaze have remained good friends since and often joke about their shared experience.
Thunderblaze is intensely proud of his kits and regrets the fact that it took the death of his mate for him to realize what he was missing out on in raising them. His son, Windpaw, reminds him most of Havenstone, but each of them have similar traits to her and he is immensely comforted by the fact that parts of the love of his life lives on through their children.

Surgestrike (Light-brown tabby w/ yellow eyes)
Warrior of CloudClan. Mate of Floodclaw. Father of Mudpaw and Dustpaw.
Surgestrike is trans with he/him pronouns.
A loud and boisterous individual, Surgestrike is the foil to his mate’s calmer and more rational demeanor; he is emotional to a fault and often acts on his feelings, becoming overtly excited at small things. He shares a similar drive for his ambitions with Floodclaw, however, as Surgestrike’s name isn’t just for show; he is driven towards the success of his clan and family and doesn’t let much stand in his way.
He can be somewhat a stickler for rules, however, and fears the social repercussions of being an outcast; this causes him to blindly follow commands and the words of others without having much of his own input on the matter. Having a family has helped him deal with this anxiety and allows him to be braver when confronting ideals that he doesn’t agree with. However, the tom is still left with the worry that his family might leave him one day if he says the wrong thing.
He is a great father but can be awkward around his two apprentice-aged kits for reasons unique to each. Mudpaw is loud and confrontational, having many intrusive questions for authority figures (including him), often leaving him at a loss for words. Dustpaw is more quiet and nervous, but just as sensitive to emotion as his father is; Surgestrike doesn’t know how to get the young tom to open up to him. Having children has probably been the most emotionally taxing thing he has ever attempted, but wouldn’t have it any other way; it’s too much fun to embarass them by simply existing.

Wildeye (Brown tabby w/ amber and green heterochromia)
Warrior of CloudClan. Brother to Dustwhisker Stripedfur.
Genderfluid and normally goes by he/him/they pronouns.
With his wide, bulbous eyes and jutting front fangs, Wildeye has quite a reputation for his apperance alone. When adding on his weird quirks and impulsive nature, the warrior is known through both CloudClan and FieldClan as a formidable and unsettling opponent. Wildeye is respected among his clanmembers, but does have a nack to be disrespectful and careless and will always settle arguments with his paws.
He has recently been given an apprentice, Lightningpaw, with a stubborn streak – it was thought that he would be able to break through the young she-cat’s demeanor and turn her into a respectful adult due to his own stubbornness. This is partially true, as Lightningpaw respects her mentor fully and does as he requests, but it was quickly found that he was the only cat that she behaves this way around. He often thinks of her as his ‘mini-me’ and is quite proud of her.
He ignores the existance of his rebuked sister, Stripedfur.
