I think it's worth it to note that Arthur is a unique villain in the cast of Escape the Night's antagonists because he is, as the kids say, "just some guy."

Like, think about it. The Sorceress? Magic-wielding time-traveler from the Victorian Era that is seemingly able to control demons and portals to other dimensions.

The Carnival Master? A man corrupted by the Dark God and turned into a demon, also with magical powers.

The Collector? A supernatural, otherworldly being that eats souls and keeps a giant Museum of the Dead.

...Arthur?

He's just some guy.

came back wrong trope but the character knows that they came back wrong. they’re so acutely aware of how different they are now from how they were before that it drives them fucking insane. they’re stuck trying to return to somebody that’s long dead. they can never be the person they once were. everybody around them knows it. deep down, they know it too, but they’re trapped in a cycle of their own making. of trying to revive someone that no longer exists.

Well, I wish I had more to give you all on the anniversary of Everlock being rescued, but instead I bring you this: a palette set based on ETN Season 3!
