the details Katniss knows about Peeta destroy me because of what they imply … there are so many moments (thousands, she says, ones we never saw) that are unsaid between them … but she’s eaten with him enough to know how he takes his tea, she’s dressed with him enough to know how he ties his shoes, and she’s slept by his side enough to either have seen or heard (I don’t imagine many of the places they slept together had windows that opened, so maybe he lamented that fact) how he sleeps … it’s … ugh … he has no idea, the effect he has
