Yes this helps. Crying helps a lots a lot. I usually give myself about two days (well nights) to cry and get it out, and then afterwards I just force myself to carry on without thinking about it. (Me being able to do this effectively shows just how much I've done it lol) But whatever it works for me most of the time.

I keep getting my hopes up for someone who I'm pretty sure is probably straight (or at least not into me) but since I'm not sure I'm having trouble getting over her. Advice? I see her every week and I can't stop thinking about her. And I don't feel comfortable just telling or asking her, so I can't get closure that way

This type of stuff takes time, so I suggest just taking some time for yourself and perhaps just let yourself feel something about this whole situation in private. Whether that mean get frustrated, cry, etc… It’s the best way to let all of your feelings out so you can finally move on. I hope everything works out well, nonnie!

Slender Aphrodite has overcome me with longing for a girl.

She reminds me of the first rays of sunshine in the morning and the orange-lilac sky when the sun goes down.

When she looks at me, I can feel my heart in my throat and my stomach tied in knots.

She’s the warm summer nights at camp fires, wearing an oversized hoodie, her hair in a messy bun and a bottle of cider in her hand, with her head resting on my shoulder.

She loves to dance like nobody’s watching. She’s not good at it but I would be lying if I said, that she didn’t look beautiful while doing so.

She lingers onto hugs just for a few more seconds and strokes the back of my hand with her thumb.
