I have an idea that y/n and her step father, Hephaestus would have a lot in common. Hephaestus was thrown off a cliff by his mother for not fitting her standards, while y/n was neglected by her father and the rest of the batfam. Not only that y/n is good with crafting and that could be something else she could have in common with her step father.

Your uncle Hephaestus would be bitter seeing you at first but out of all the children of Aphrodite he's mad at you least

It's such a good idea!, I also wanted to ask if you're going to make a love interest for the reader and if some of the camp friends are going to be yanderes too, like Percy and Annabeth , or if Aphrodite and Mr. D. will be yanderes, and also if the reader will have the powers of a son/daughter of Aphrodite like the books, how to use the charm, and if we will have longer chapters. As far as I'm concerned your entire cabin loves you already, shown through small scenes

so here's the thing, Zeus and Bruce too much is kinda the same. Zeus keep siring children to become heroes and Bruce keeps adopting new Robins and new vigilantes. Zeus neglected Ares and Bruce neglected the reader.

You were about to agree then a loud clang was heard, you four quickly hid

Looking at the window you see straw dummies with orange camp half-blood shirts, a Dracaenae (dragon women) rips the dummies and the other monsters cheer

"—Don't push me Agrius!" You feel both Annabeth and Percy stiffen as the sudden voice seeps into your ears

"Luke..." Percy shudders, This Luke guy and his friend were arguing, something about gambling, wait no- that's a metaphor for taking a risk

"it will pay off!" Luke yells "They'll take the bait... Now let's check in the casket"

Tyson whimpered "Leave now?"

The remaining three of you came to an agreement, Percy looked eager and Annabeth looked worried

You sigh "We can't, if this guy is talking about something that relates to camp or something worse, we have to find out"

You gasp, they are talking about Chiron, then Tyson laughed, it was Luke's laugh "They can't trust him anymore, not with the skeletons in his closet, the poisoning of Thalia's tree was the last straw"

Annabeth shivered, then she yelled "Tyson stop! That's creepy!", Tyson shrunk "I was just listening"

Tyson closed his eyes again "—Quiet! I heard something, just outside the door" and before I could tell everyone to hide

I would have stayed, immortality and getting all you could ever want?

A middle aged man scolds his three kids for jumping in the pool and points at a sign, a dog that looks somewhat human that looks like it belongs in the deepest pits of hell is in line for the buffet

You freeze up, is that an empousa?? A monster playing poker with a mortal human?

You look around and see variations of monsters and humans, seemingly happy in the cruise

What is this? Monster human united nations?

Don't get me wrong, you're not racist, it's just that monsters typically eat humans, so it's okay that you find it weird that a snake haired monster with poison blood is gambling with Jeff

I may have been, no definitely, I should be older than I am right now, when my family and I were on a mi- vacation, I went inside this hotel, I was only there for like 20 minutes but they claimed I was gone for two years... I- holy shit. I was stuck in a hotel for two years" you exclaim

You get out of the room, you hear people laughing

"you should go down there young lady! There is a pageant! There is this beautiful maiden, more beautiful compared to the others!" A man says, he was wearing clothing so old fashioned you'd thought he was from the regency era

Well, a pageant sounds fun!

In the hotel ballroom people were staring... Not at the contestants, well, yes the contestants, but one, one special lady

"Good evening LA!" She laughs

How captivating... , you think

She turns and sees you, she stops smiling "(Name)? What? What are you doing here?"

Oh gosh she just said your name!

"you're not supposed to be here!" She floats, yup floats and you're shocked, she grabs your hand and she walks you to the entrance of the hotel, the servants who were eager to help everyone was avoiding her gaze and now staying far from you

At the entrance she gestures you get out of the hotel, so you did

A bunch of guys approach you, you don't know who they are
