Quote
I design clothes because I don’t want women to look all innocent and naïve…I want woman to look stronger…I don’t like women to be taken advantage of…I don’t like men whistling at women in the street. I think they deserve more respect. I like men to keep their distance from women, I like men to be stunned by an entrance. I’ve seen a woman get nearly beaten to death by her husband. I know what misogyny is I want people to be afraid of the women I dress”

Be the person you want to be Self confidence is definately something we are all learning to control and master, it takes time and a little bit of dedication! I am not an expert on the matter and I am still working on my self confidence, but here are some things that will help you be the person you want to be! Get rid of toxic people in your life.
By toxic I mean the type of people who put you down, buzz kill kinda people, they cramp your style and brain, they just don’t allow you to be you.
Find people who make you laugh, people you don’t have to think about everything you say around. Delete toxic people, don’t associate with them, you will find you are better off without them. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Your body has feelings too, nourish yourself, eat foods that you love and won’t regret eating, don’t look in the mirror as often, don’t pick apart every aspect of your appearance and love your flaws. Stop speaking negatively about yourself, don’t call yourself fat, your body has feelings too. Have plants in your bedroom. Plants are rad, they release toxins that prevent acne and obviously release clean oxygen! Plants will purify the air, the theory is that if the plants do the absorbing first, our nose and lungs take on less of a burden.
Get good sleep and exercise. I know I know we have all heard it before and you want to stay up all night, but try having a week where you set your bed time and the time you wake up. Exercise too, whether it’s a walk with friends or sit-ups on your bedroom floor it’s exercise! It will make you so much happier, and with exercise comes a healthy body!
Best of lucky lovely people! -Sophia
