Huang Zitao has always known sign language. Before he debuted, he had a really good friend who was deaf, he learnt the sign language for him. Even though the company only gave him a few days to go home, he still went to find this friend to hang out upon returning to Qingdao. Do you remember ? EXO has a unique pose, the sailor moon pose. This pose was taught to the members by Huang Zitao. Of course it's not for fun, in sign language it actually means "I love you".

a kaisoo fic where you go on a coffee date pls

Kyungsoo tapped nervously on the brim of his white hot chocolate, while his date Jongin did his best to talk animatedly about his job as a full year tax consultant. He didn’t mind though. He figured it was kind of his fault for the awkward atmosphere and Jongin’s sorry attempt to bring excitement into their lifeless conversation. He had barely said three whole sentences since their arrival, including the “I’ll take a medium white hot chocolate”. Kyungsoo felt like a failure. He knew the date was a bad idea, having practically zero social experience, but after laying eyes on what Kyungsoo believes to be the epitome of “tall, dark, and handsome”, he just couldn’t refuse.

No one could blame him, Kim Jongin was basically sex on legs, and he had asked simple, plain, and quiet Kyungsoo on a date. It had seemed like a scenario from a fairytale, but now as Kyungsoo uncomfortably sipped his drink and avoided eye contact, he couldn’t help but feel a pang of regret. He just wanted to get through this situation as quickly as possible, so he could go home, drown himself in birthday cake ice cream, and wallow in self pity.

Jongin had seemed to pick up on this too, as he stopped the story he was telling and sighed softly. “We don’t have to continue this if you don’t want to. I mean you just look really uncomfortable, and I don’t want to continue putting you through this.”

Kyungsoo looked up with wide eyes, only to be met with a face full of genuine concern. He could feel his walls begin to crumble by the other boy’s sincerity and let out a shaky breath. “Actually I… I… I’m not that great with the whole “dating” thing and I didn’t mean to make things so awkward but… but I’m really happy that you asked me out! And.. and I do want to continue spending time with you, but as you can already tell I’m really socially inept. So maybe we can go to a quiet movie or something, because I mean I’d feel more comfortable, and… and… well if you want to… or not…”  He finished weakly, and silently waited for rejection.

“Of course!” Jongin smiles beautifully and Kyungsoo thinks he feels his heart flutter but he’s not to sure, because at this point as Jongin continues to beam happily, he’s not to sure about anything. The only thing that Kyungsoo is sure about, is that Jongin’s hand is reassuringly warm as he pulls him out of the busy coffee shop, and he thinks maybe this wasn’t such a bad idea.
