I don't post on this account, but here's a drawing I made in high school one autumn.
This is a Leafy/Messy type Wandermon, called Leaflet.
They look like pinecones, though their long arms are often a dead giveaway. These silly little creatures appear at the beginning of autumn, and immediately set about trying to vibrate all the leaves off trees.
I don't know why, but they HATE seeing leaves in trees. I've found trees with no trace of Leaflets that still have no leaves, so clearly they're not the cause of falling leaves...

Trouble of being a Wandermon researcher:
Today I wanted to make popcorn to munch on while drawing (i wasn't hungry but I wanted to chew something. That's why I keep popcorn in my house) but there were some little guys living in the microwave today.
I've yet to give them a decent name, but they looked like little tiny butter octopus things. I'm thinking Little/Tasty type, but totally blanking on the name.
I'm sure that I could have melted them by turning on the microwave but I think that's murder
Anyway my best name idea is Buddlefish but they're not cuddlefish so I have no idea
Maybe tomorrow I'll try drawing them?

Hmm, now this reminds me of the Little/Many type Wandermon, Linklowd! Technically, Linklowd is made of a much of Little Types called Lilowd, but when enough of them gather up, they form into a fuzzy cloud of Little Guys!
Lilowds have an interesting dynamic: some of them will find an item and grasp it as long as they can, while others will throw anything that gets into their hands.
As a result, Linklowds will roll througham a room, scooping items up and then flinging them ahead of itself (themselves?)
I know that's not exactly what you're talking about, maybe I just have ADHD, or maybe I spent half the day trying to catch a broken zipper that a Linklowd was chucking across my research space...
A dragon that鈥檚 made up of a whole lot of kobolds Voltroned together. The breath weapon is just every individual kobold throwing things. Recharge 5-6 to see if they have more things to throw.

Ah, yikes. This could very well be the work of the Spooky type wandermon, Asind. They've for a bad habit of adding extra floors to buildings, and an even worse habit of trying to catch people who wander to the non-existent floor...
I'm pretty sure there's one in my own apartment complex, actually - there's this one apartment that's in the middle of the building and I'm certain that if I knock on the door, they'll steal my name.

Clearly, this is a very safe room! There's almost certainly an Eeper in here - they're Night/Dream types that are incredibly easily startled, so they tend to hide underneath people's beds.
Despite looking like a dust bunny, they're rather loud when scared - making whimpering and whining noises that leads some children to think there's monsters under their beds.
Eepers, in their most comfortable state, are quiet, sleepy fuzzballs that peacefully slumber, hidden away. While sleeping, they produce a compound, often called "snooze," that gives a room a cozy, warm atmosphere.

What are Wandermon?
They're silly little guys, basically.
To my understanding, most people can't actually see them - and those who can, often think they're looking at a yokai or fae or something from folklore.
I've decided to start sharing them with other people by interjecting into other posts and talking about silly guys!
Why are Wandermon?
@daily-quest made a post about a day or two ago (as of writing this) that inspired me to start this gimmick blog, encouraging people to catch some kind of funky fellow.
So, here's how it works:
Send me an ask, reblog one of my posts, or just post a picture/interesting description that I stumble onto. I'll tell you about a Wandermon that could be nearby, why it's there, how it behaves, and a vague explanation of what it looks like. (Think of me like a really weird drawing prompt, if that helps? I can't take pictures of Wandermon and I suck at drawing them... for now.)
About Me
Hello~! I'm Professor Thalia, I'm a Wandermon Researcher. (I'm only a Professor if people will call me that, it's not like I can get a degree in Wandermon Studies...)
I live in an apartment in an unnamed city, which gives me lots of chances to find Wandermon! I love trying to figure out what they're doing, and I've always wanted to figure out ways to spread the word of them. If you can see them too, let me know~!
Types
I intent to update this post with all the different types as they're discovered, along with a short explanation of them!
Dream - absent-minded, soft and ethereal friends who usually what to sit on your forehead.
Night - nighttime friends who are found after dark.
Silly - Tricksters and goofy fellows who want lots of love and attention!
Spooky - Ominous and worrying creatures that often have no ill intent
Little - Tiny, adorable Wandermon! Do be careful not to step on them, but many are used to that.
Many - This type is a bit of a stretch, but there's a lot of Wandermon made of lots of others. So, we gave the composite ones their own type!
Tasty - No don't eat them! Tasty Wandermon aren't food, they just look like it. I suspect it's like camouflage, or maybe reverse psychology. Would you eat an animal that looked like it was a sandwich? (Don't answer that)
