Wall of Ears is a psychedelic freakpop band, born in N'awlins, now in Seattle, centered around the ongoing musical vision of CW Lott. WOE's 2nd LP HELLO BEAUTIFUL NOTHING is fearless in it's examination of outsider experimental electronica and sonic surrealism. Utilizing unconventional instrumentation like synthesizers, samplers, and screwdrivers, each tightly crafted pop tune is saturated with visionary texture. Written over a two-year span and recorded on both the east and west coast with an exotic blend of experimental musicians, HELLO BEAUTIFUL NOTHING is both a reflection and mantra on disintegrating the boundaries between ourselves and the immense strangeness of the world around us.
