ten years ago you were so scared of such different things, but you survived them anyway. the same goes for five years ago and two years ago. everything that has ever felt like a hurdle, you’ve passed through. so be afraid, identify your fears, and then allow yourself to remember that in just a little while, this will be another thing that you have overcome.

♪ It's time for Fish Fact Friday ♪
The opah, also known as moonfish, is a large marine fish, with certain species growing up to 2 meters (6.5 feet) in length!
It is the only known fully warm-blooded fish; some other fish such as tuna and billfishes are able to warm a few parts of their bodies, however the opah is the only fish known to circulate warm blood (heated by their muscle movements) throughout its whole body. This adaptation, in addition to the fatty tissue insulating their bodies, allows them to better swim and hunt in colder waters.
The opah is not truly warm-blooded, however - they are not able to maintain a stable body temperature, and instead keep their bodies a few degrees warmer than the surrounding waters. Still, this is enough to improve its movement in cold waters, helping them to catch prey such as squids and small fish!
