Well... I guess that’s that. The update launches tomorrow. I’ll spend the next few hours enjoying the GRU (rollin’ around at the speed of sound~) and the casual mode beast that is the Panic Attack.

... I guess now that the wait is over, I might as well start a new TF2 blog instead of staying on this one. So if there’s any burning (haha) questions y’all wanted to ask me, the next few days would be a good time. Don’t worry though, I’ll be back soon (ehehehe...)

and so i’ve never really experienced a true update hype like this

and i’ll admit, i was a little cynical, hearing people reminiscence about the good ol’ days

i had trouble believing people really got *that* invested in an update

but now

i am experiencing the hype

in real time

I decided to give TFC a try

Surprisingly there’s still some servers out there, and the join time is a lot quicker than TF2. I’m still getting used to the controls (I blew myself up a lot), but it’s a nice companion to TF2.

...Although beloved Pyro is kinda weak in TFC. And gruff. (”EXCUSE ME, I’M IN NEED OF MEDICAL ATTENTION!”)

...there’s a joke to be made somewhere in here about “pot-shot” guesses at the update date, isn’t there?
