Books, winter, coffee, history, good omens, the rookie, friends, bis bang theory and dumb memes is all it takes to make me happy. Oh, and of course food. Lots of food🍰

You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand.

If you’re scrolling through tumblr trying to distract yourself from something you don’t want to think about or you’re looking for a sign that everything will be okay, this is it. So, breathe. Relax into this moment. You’re alive & that’s all that matters.

I can't stand thunderstorms for one good reason.
It feels like someone broke the sky's heart and now the sky is shouting out their pain in such a way that makes houses tremble and people shudder and it's a scream so powerful no one can escape it.
That's why I'm fucking terrified of thunderstorms.

Question: Can we normalize intimacy towards oneself more?
So lately I feel like every time someone comes to me hoping for advice they feel it's weird when I tell them what I do when I don't feel great. Sometimes when there is no one there to comfort me in that moment I wrap my arm around myself and kiss my knee or my palm. And that might sound weird at first, but it really does work. We don't need to depend on other people for reassurance and affection. sometimes it's within our power to comfort ourselves.
