Sometimes I turn out the lights, turn on some rain sounds, and take a shower in the dark. No sight, no noise, no interruptions.

Just me, and the dark, and the not quite rain.

In that space, its almost meditative. With no idea of what I might look like on the outside, I can just live in the feeling instead. No mirrors, or judging eyes.

Just me and the unwavering certainty of the body in my minds eye.

When the water runs along my straining joints and flexing muscles, there is only me.
