Born into one of the most loving families that a person could hope for, Poppy was endlessly adored by her parents. The dream came swiftly to an end, however, when the pair of them were ripped away from her. Having left Poppy with her Aunt Elizabeth for a night out at a charity benefit in Pittsburgh, they were in a tragic car accident while returning home. From then on, the blonde was raised by her aunt who kept her carefully guarded in hope of never exposing the girl to such heartache again. Deciding that she would be best protected far away from home, the woman decided to move them to the city of dreamers, New York City, where Poppy would have a chance at a normal childhood and would have every resource at her fingertips. So when the blonde was four, the women took flight and moved to their new home.

 It wasn’t long before the young girl had made best friends with one of her neighbors, Harrison Davies. The pair were inseparable from the moment they met, much to the chagrin of her Aunt Elizabeth. Especially as they grew older, the woman did not think he was the best influence on her niece. But the pair still managed to grow closer and closer, eventually becoming intimate and retaining that arrangement to this day. 

Though she was successful in school, she was unsure of what she wanted to do with her life, the girl switched between odd jobs until a day of volunteering at a local animal shelter led her to finding her own passion. Getting a job as an animal handler, she was shocked when the former owner left her the rescue upon retirement. Now, she runs the rescue with hope of turning it into something bigger and better for all animals as opposed to just the cats and dogs that already owned her heart.
